OK so I uploaded some photos by dragging & dropping the photos in the “add Listing” page. I uploaded like 6 photos. Everything looks greats in the details view.

My question is that when I go to the media library only the first uploaded photo is there an no others…so where are the other stored?

I am using EWWW for photo Optimization and it looks like it worked great on the first photo, but I am unsure of the rest of the photos because I can’t find where they are stored.

Here is the link to the linking that I uploaded the photos to (if that helps):

    Thanks

    Hi Stacey,
all the pictures are stored in the wp-content/uploads/ folder and then sorted in subfolders based on year and month, so now since we are in october, the latest pictures are in wp-content/uploads/2014/10

(e.g. one of your picture in the listing you provided, is here http://www.muttmaps.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/7174_1-BIG-PICTURE-from-franklin-DPs-facebook-page.jpg )

I recall that in setup, one of the things we should do is change media option to year month.

Is there a better way to manage a huge amount of images, perhaps using a plugin to create a new folder for each Place listing? It’s still in beta and already strange to sort through listing Place photos mixed in with site icons and graphics… when there are 5-10K users, finding my icons and site folders will be a nightmare.

Image management is a very important item for management and storage fees.
