It has to to with the https version of the site. Over http images are displayed, over https not. I have problems to understand what is happening. For some reason I can not post here anymore? I have posted another answer twice and nothing happened.

I can reproduce this. It is related to the .htaccess code, related to the rewrite condition for Apache:

Indeed, this was a problem or is jutst a chrome related problem. I do not understand what is happening.

3. As for tags (slug in plural) I could not find a solution. I’ve changed the slugs under WP/Settings/Permalinks, but they are for singular and not used. I think this is used in plural by GeoDirectory. It is not so important by now, I’ll upgrade the project anyway to v2 and I’ll change the tags slug with v2 and set the 301-redirects for the search engines.

This is true and I thought the most current translation file is to find on translate.wordpress.org (I’ve compared also the GeoDirectory core translation files and there are differences between the plugin file (2063 strings) and the automatically updated file from translate.wordpress.org (2069 strings)). But this is strange, because it should be the same, since I can download the last version from WordPress or am I wrong? Maybe I have to check with the translation team, if the file update process on translate.wordpress.org is working without errors. What do you think about that?

After updating the file from the plugin file userswp-us_US.po I’ve got 36 missing or changed or identical strings (most of them). Some of them are with errors, like incomplete original strings:

Unfortunately there is no change after translating the 36 strings and replacing the file and deleting the browser cache. There are still the same strings in use, nothing changed. Even the main backend menu for UsersWP did not changed and it is still in English. I’m out of ideas to this problem.

And the slugs listings as in mysite.de/lehrer/autorname/listings is still the same. I need a solution for this, please help.

Well, we have found out that we have differences between the plugin translation files and the translate.wordpress.org files. We have to find out why.
