    Another option:
    If the answer to my question is: It’s not possible, then what if…
    I lowered the places membership say by $10 and if the member wants to
    be able to add Classes, then they would have to purchase that separately.

    If a user does this, can I assume that they can use their existing user account and that
    they would see both options to Add Place and Add Class the way the Admin does?

    I have all my licenses.
    Installed GeoDirectoryx Force Update
    Entered the licenses as instructed
    Deactivated GeoDirectoryx Force Update

    Still no updates for the 2 plugins.

    If I have to manually install the updates, I can do that.
    Just verify that these steps are correct:
    1. Download the plugins to my PC
    2. Unzip them on my PC
    3. FTP / overwrite the files on the website in folders:
    wp-content/plugins/geodir_location_manager/
    wp-content/plugins/geodir_payment_manager/

    Is this correct?

    I looked at the author field but the user I wanted to change to wasn’t there.
    Changing the user level did the trick.

    WOW… I totally missed it on the form!

    Is there any documentation for these modules? I’ve seen some of the videos but they don’t necessarily cover every aspect.

    Taking your lead, I found the string to be changed in file: language.php in the geodirectory folder and in geodirectory-en_US.po
    The update occurred when I changed language.php.

    Very new to GD. I like the layout of your website.
    It looks like you were able to change Places to Businesses – Great idea.
    For your menus, did you create custom post types or just sub under businesses?
