Copyright URL not displaying

    GDF Options | Footer Styling Option | Copyright Text

    It states that HTML can be entered. When I tried adding something like the following:
    © 2016 My Website

    all that displays is: © 2016

    The HTML works as I tested it here:
    http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_a_target

    Please advise.
