    Thanks,
    1) Couple of points/observations:
    * Here again we are assuming the user to know what to do? They do not know they have to “un-tick” the all the categories they don’t want to be able to search the one they do want! I would have to tell them what to do! My “job” is to try to make it as simple as possible. If its complicated-we scare them off… not all users are savy in what to do… my opinion…

    * Why go here is all the categories are under the GMap?

    * What are we (users) supposed to enter in the “Title” ?

    Wow…. appreciate the detailed explanation!

    Here are my observations/answers:

    1. Why would a “user” go to this location “page” http://www.supremecityguides.com/location/ ?
    2. I wrote instructions on the Home Page that the first thing they need to do is Select the Location they are interested in! I’m thinking/considering creating a Menu Page for Instructions to write some “bullet” instruction on how to “navigate” the site…
    3. I don’t see any purpose in going to this Page. I actually would like to delete it if I could.
    4. I saw the # 2 (for 2 events in Miami Fashion Events) but it was because you added an Event to Miami Fashion Events. I delete it and now the count is only 1 -which is fine.
    5. I’m Ok the way it is now. I don’t want a Page that will list all Miami Fashion Events because they will never be more than one. User will not be able to add Events. I will be the only one and it is actually a listing page with a link to the events website. That is the reason all I wanted in the listing page was/is the Website.

If I don’t come across any issues as I continue putting it all together for now its ok just the way it is…

I do however thank you for your effort & time in making sure I understood all….

    Thanks Jorge

    Thanks Guust,

    1. I know what they do. My question was “what is the purpose” of displaying these categories here if they are shown below the GMap?

    2. Can this “box” be deleted from displaying in the GMap?

    Guust,

First of all I want to tell you that I appreciate all your help! You have always gone the “extra mile” to help me. Paolo tends to be short in his answers but lately has been much more explaining and helpful.
My last reply to you was made perhaps in a haste as:
    1. I try not to work on saturdays,
    2. I was on my way out but wanted to reply to you and
    3. I believed I had fix the issue.
My apologies if I gave you the impression you make reference to…

I reviewed your reply and I do have the following questions:

Q1) what you mean by “a broken category page”? Could you please explain it?

    Ref this page> http://www.supremecityguides.com/places/places_to-stay/
Q2) How did you get to this page? The reason I ask is because if I am in the Miami location and select Places To Stay it only takes me Places To Stay in the city of Miami. The url you sent me gives me Places To Stay in other cities other than Miami e.g Miami Beach, Sunny Isles….
Don’t see the purpose and it might be bit confusing to users…

    Events CPT:
Both Events in Miami ( Miami Fashion Events & Miami Arts & Theater Events) are working fine to me. Once I select either one it takes me to the Event listing page which is what I wanted. I don’t want a Master Category Page for Events.

    Guust,

I replied this morning that I was able to set-up just like I wanted by adding via Add Listing!
    See http://www.supremecityguides.com/events/miami-fashion-events/

    Guust,
When I have an problem I can’t resolve when I go to bed I always ask “my mind” to come-up with a solution and it works.
I woke up this morning and I fixed the issue!

I added Miami Fashion Events via the “Add A Listing” and it worked.
I have my Event just the way I wanted it.
    See> http://www.supremecityguides.com/events/miami-fashion-events/

When you add a listing via Add Listing you are able to add a Featured Image!
Why you can’t otherwise is a question? Why not allow it!
Now when user click on the CPT Category Miami Fashion Events they are taken directly to this page!

Do you see any issues in doing this?

Yes, now I see it. Thanks for the image!

I did change to sort by Feature Listings but when I refreshed it still displayed the same Listings as before and none of the listings are Featured Listings! ????//

    Does it take some time???/

    1. Replace the GD Map image with my Miami Fashion image. Paolo says it can not be done but like I said earlier I could swear I changed it but it went back to the GD Map!

    2. Here? > http://www.supremecityguides.com/wp-admin/term.php?taxonomy=gd_eventscategory&tag_ID=44&post_type=post&wp_http_referer=%2Fwp-admin%2Fedit-tags.php%3Ftaxonomy%3Dgd_eventscategory%26amp%3Bpost_type%3Dgd_events

The Default listing image is the one I want to display not the GD Map image.

I can not remove the icon image!

    3. It was the way I wanted before you changed it! It worked as I wanted it to work.
If I can I would like to keep it the way it was! It serves no purpose in first going to the a “listing page” where there is no info and then having the user click again on Maimi Fashion Events to get to the page where the website link is located….

    1. you wrote > 1. If you want to show the latest listings added to your site. Delete widget as you like.
Q1) You meant “if you you do not want to show” Delete widget, right?

    2. You wrote> By setting the Popular Post widget to sort by Latest.
Q2) Is this the default setting? I see other options but not this one! ?????

    Australia! Where?
I would love to visit-so many beautiful places…

Q1) Why do they display here?
I don’t believe I had seen them before today!

Q2) Not sure what to do with them? I will have too give some thought! I will have to read about Categories????

Q3? In case I don’t want to use them -just delete them right?
