    OK that worked. Is there any way to access the <u>Listing Preview Sidebar</u>. I can’t find a shortcode for this .

    … Nevermind. I figured out that the ‘GD Author Right Sidebar’ works for this location.

    On further investigation of the attached text.

    It contains these characters which break the responsiveness of the site:

    ____________________________________________

    44 underlines

    It seems 33 is the max allowed which does not break the responsiveness (on my mobile screen at least).

    Can this be fixed to allow these non-breaking character strings?

    Thanks for your reply.

    The stackechange article is quite complicated but it got me thinking.

    I accomplished same with a combination of 2 plugins.

    and
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/shortcode-in-menus/

    Quite simple; – add the Near Me Widget to the Widgets for Shortcodes widget area and then get the shortcode from the widget area and create Custom Menu Link; – leave the URL blank ands place the shortcode into the Navigation Label (Title) area.

    Works like a charm!

    Hi Alex,

    I am trying to recall whether I signed up for an account at WPUsers or not. It seems that I was automagically given member access(not membership) and then I received an email with uwp_geodirectory.zip plugin which is a plugin one is required to purchase from WPUsers. I definitely did not purchase it and in the email there is an option to view receipt. The receipt states that it cost $0.

    How and why was this emailed to me. What does the plugin do for my GD site if I am not required to install it?

    Then when you say create different login pages; – sure I will do that. What is the recommendation of what to do with the GD login pages?

    Do I set them to Draft and set up a redirect to the WPUsers login page?

    So when installing WPUsers plugin on my GD site; – Am I required to install the uwp_geodirectory plugin as well?

    …and if I install the uwp_recaptcha plugin; – Do I need to disable the geodir_recaptcha plugin?

    Thanks for your reply.

    I am not keen on sharing Admin access.

    I have removed some of the text in the attachment and it shows up correctly. There must be some characters that cause this to break in the attached text.

    Perhaps you can copy paste to a test site to check or I suggest you bump this up to a developer to investigate.

    Hi,

    So the /event page that is created by GD. I am unable to edit this page, No? It does not display a map; – only in the sidebar.

    How would I go about creating a map that will display only a selected city (or default city) events on the GD page?

    One last question on this topic.

    Can I filter the map via shortcode to only display default city events.

    I have this currently > [gd_listing_map post_type=”gd_event” event_type=”upcoming” width=100% height=395 zoom=”10″ scrollwheel=false]
