I noticed that I also don’t see it anymore in simple page (example: homepage of http://www.baltazar.it ), where I used the core shortcode
[gd_recent_reviews]
I recently updated all plugins: it seems a bug…
Hi, the issue come back again. When I’m navigate into the website, suddendly it bring me to “near me” page.
How can I disable this?
ThanksHi, I tried again as suggested above but nothing, settings are not restored. Can you please take a look, or let me know which sql table restore to have customized settings again? After many month of works I just launched the directory and it hasn’t the style I built.
Hi, I tried but nothing changed
If needed, details are here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/preview-not-showing-data/#post-33239
Hi, thanks for details. Yes, there are some issues after moving from working folder /geodirectory to the final root. Naming in different way was a better idea, I didn’t think.
In the meantime I uploaded icons categories and map marker. In mobile version I see an error on the map of every region, should be related to this issue? The error:
Warning: invalid argument supplied for foreeach() in /home/../wp-admin/includes/plugin.php on line 1422
and the mobile menu does not shows sub-menu and switch locator
Thank you
This reply has been marked as private.Yes, I removed the added css code because moving to a region is not possible to select cities anymore.
I will try to check when the issue occurs and try to replicate it.I was testing now, no it seems is still there an issue. I selected a region (through the menu, example: baltazar.it/geodirectory/luoghi/italia/toscana/ ) and the switcher locator became (region) Toscana, and from this is not more possible to switch to the city list. Please try
Thanks againThanks.
Since there is still some issue by switching from regions to cities (or viceversa) in Switcher Locator, how can I disable/remove the Region from Switcher Locator and leave only the cities? (I will add the regions into wordpress menu, they are only 20)I tried to post a “only” comment by replying a previous comment: in wp-admin I see it with stars, in front end I see it without stars (as comment as it should be). I think is work fine but in wordpress admin shows wrongly the stars, right?
Hi, very good, I think I will mantain reviews with rating and let them add reply to reviews, but – thinking to my user – I will try to let them know the difference immediately. I mean, something like:
– change button description under each review with something like “reply to this review” or “add a comment/question to this review”
– adding something like “click here to write a review” under the above button (or very visible) to forward them to the review form, or a floating bar/icon to scroll to the form.Mmh, I don’t agree because my users not always give reviews with ratings, but also ask further details about the listing or specific details about the previous reviews (example: how much did you spend or is suitable for childrens, etc.). Many questions that should work as comments, not as reviews. IMHO, a mix of comments + reviews could be useful.
So, how can I manage this? Disable ratings and use a 3rd part plugin to let the listing rated? (a plugin that let rate the custom post types?)
Thank you for tips
February 27, 2015 at 9:45 am in reply to: How to change default tab (from profile to review)? #32235Works fine now, thank you
Ok, done it:
In the process of replacing Italia with Italy we scanned 1 tables with a total of 10647 rows, 11110 cells were changed. 10606 db updates were performed. It all took 19.1710000 seconds.
But sill see the issue. Maybe something else to update/refersh?
Thanksp.s. I noticed I have some cities that are not properly under their region, and have the old structure
country/provence/city
instead of
country/region/city as suggest google autocompleteexample:
Italia/Siena/Siena
instead of
Italia/Toscana/SienaI’m trying to fix this in the meantime, I don’t know if is related.
