Automatic updates reset my settings

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    Hi, I think automatic updates have reset all GDF options. All values are like after a fresh installation (also the logo desappeared).
    How can I prevent this?
    How can I restore all my settings?

    p.s. I have a recent mysql backup: if I had to do with this, please indicate me which table
