I think I fixed it by restoring an old backup.
Now, should be useful understand what is causing crash of tables.
Is it normal that for wp core tables “Table does not support optimize, doing recreate + analyze instead”?
    Thanks

Maybe I found the issue, but not able to fix: the mysql table “wp_geodir_post_review” has crashed.

If I try to repair it, I receive:
    vaksmewcvw.wp_geodir_post_review: Can’t create new tempfile: ‘./vaksmewcvw/wp_geodir_post_review.TMD’
    vaksmewcvw.wp_geodir_post_review: Operation failed

Table ‘./vaksmewcvw/wp_geodir_post_review’ is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed

If I try to restore a previous backup, it fails because of the crashed table.

    Hi, I’m posting an example:
this listing should have more than 700 reviews:
    http://www.baltazar.it/locali/italia/emilia-romagna/riccione/sol-y-mar-riccione/
    front-end: no any review
in /wp-admin: I see all reviews

Please help, all unique content is hidden, and Googlebot visit and visit this version of the website..

I made a test with Cloudways, to see the differences. With the free trial 1GB RAM, 1 Core Processor
30GB Storage, 2TB Bandwidth I migrated the website and tested: well, I don’t see anymore the bottleneck (see attached) and a faster loading
    How you run http://wordpress-14233-31030-76504.cloudwaysapps.com./ ?
Maybe is a good start point move here?
(if so, I used your aff link 😉

    Thank again for your tips.

I see, I’ll have a deeper look at Hetzner.
But now I’m still having few visitors for a dedicated. 2 years ago they were 5,000/day but it was a vbulletin forum, not more useful for listing restaurants, so more than 1 year ago I started to work to migrate into GD Directory, and only now is almost ready, but visitors are only 200/day, not yet time to switch for a dedicated I think. But your final tip is very interesting.

    Thanks for tips.
Point 1) I’ll postpone it (it seems upgrading php should hurts some custom installation on other website), so I focus on other points
point 2) I made this test, enabling only GD plugins. Better result when I also de-activated MultiReview plugin. Not much difference disabling bbpress. The strange is the first “get”: GT Metrix and Pingdom tools show the bottleneck, as shown in attached.
So, how to read these data? Need to focus on other server with php updated?

I have a dedicated, with these spec:

    Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5620 @ 2.40GHz Processor
    6 Cores 8 GB RAM
    500 GB Drive

On this dedicated I run a wordpress website with 6/8000 uniques day (optimized, no issues, run Cloudflare, and load fast) and some other wordpress websites with very low visits. Load of the server is always between 0.8/1.8
    Do you need more details?

Maybe I found something: disabling the cookie banner (an info banner that let users accept cookies) decrease the loading time. Maybe this banner causes a distorted calculation . Tested with banner/without, and both GT Metrix and Pingdom test show loading time from 15/20sec to 4/5sec
Maybe is not slow the website but wrong the calculation?
How do you load the website?

    Thanks

p.s. The cookie banner is a plugin provided by Iubenda (cookie banner & allows blocking prior to consent)
