Okay, I passed it along a few days back with a request. Really appreciate your help!
Hi Stiofan,
Thank you again for taking the time to review! I’ve reached out to plugin developer and hoping for a response. In the interim, do you believe the proposed fix above will help? Wondering where/how to put in place? Is this a CSS entry that may allow us to use both until the Voting Plugin is modified in more detail or is this just a general framework to use a starting point for them?

Most GD pages (like checkout) had no ads and error persists even when we set to deliver no ads or eliminate ad boxes/code from widgets.
We have tried almost every conceivable combination of configurations. Turned off all plugins, certain sets, etc. We even have a Plugin Manager which allows us to turn off per page and were able to experiment screen by screen. The only plugin that will consistantly cause the error (but only by de-activating) is Visual Composer. If it is left active, all screens work except final checkout. VC turned on or off at final checkout still allows for error.
We have tried activating one, both, none of payment options (PayPal and Authorize.net) in both test and live mode (Authorize.net only). Error is limited to packages that require payment. Free package and Standard (free) package both successfully go straight to “Published” after preview. Interesting to note that in spite of the Error screen, it looks like the listings are published anyway. Checking the Places list and you can see all that were attempted. However they are not even retaining the proper info. For example, trying to post a test listing for the $29 plan eventually gets the error screen. But checking that post after the error, it shows that the $99 plan was selected and that no category was chosen. Does that mean anything?
The URL of the page that comes up with the error always contains a “pre-checkout” slug somewhere (i.e. http://www.inmaricopa.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=geodir_ajax_action&geodir_ajax=add_listing&ajax_action=pre-checkout&listing_type=gd_place). What GD page would that be so that perhaps we could isolate and activate/deactivate or troubleshoot by looking at console messages?
BTW, the “Drop Files to upload” function does not work on any of our packages.
Would really appreciate any additional help or suggestions. Thanks!
Sorry, forgot to mention that ability to upload photos is still not working, so we have to just tick the Accept Terms & Conditions and submit anyway.
We are no longer seeing duplicate jquery calls but still unable to get to a payment page, either in live or test mode. However now instead of “Server Error” page we just get a blank white page. On page prior to that (Confirm and Submit) we are seeing these errors in console:

We haven’t touched it over the past few days. Still seeing the same issue here (“Server error” and inability to upload images) on any package that requires payment. The “Free” package allows for submission and seems to work fine, except for not allowing image upload (but no error message, just ignores). Appreciate the time you’re putting into this.

Thanks so much!
Thanks for the feedback. If we were to custom code, could you direct me to the area where the settings for the various scroll functionalities might be found?

Random/Featured setting worked great, sorry I missed that.
Thanks so much for the reply. Directory home page currently set during testing to:
http://www.inmaricopa.com/gd-home/
We tried setting number of posts to 1, however that only “shows” 1 post at a time 🙂
Since the slider extends across the top of the page, we like showing 4 posts at a time, however we only want them to slide over 1 at a time.
We left the “title” option active as well, with gray bars visible at different vertical levels, for your review.
Also, forgot one slider question: Currently we have logos set in the slider to display “Featured” but can we control in which order they appear? We were hoping for “random” so that the same logos don’t appear for every visitor in the same order, since that might give preferential treatment to some of the Featured clients.
Any suggestions for the above would be much appreciated.
