I guess I was looking for a bit more detail than this. More specifically, which DB tables are supposed to remain (if any) when GD is deleted? I understand the benefit of allowing data to remain in the event of an uninstall/reinstall but it makes it tougher to troubleshoot. Is there some way to clean the DB and/or test individual tables or records? Which table (if any) is related to search? In that search is an option with and without “Advanced Search” module, is there some way to target and fix the core search conflict?
Even manually deleting tables in our testing doesn’t seem to help, as it looks like some elements are saved in the main WP options table as well.
We’re continuing to review the database for anomalies but if you have any other suggestions or can point us in a particular direction, it would be appreciated.
Thanks so much!
We usually run some ad code for banners related to our Google Publisher account, but drop those into a plugin called “Insert Headers and Footers.” That hasn’t changed (or updated) in quite awhile, and even that plugin was deactivated for our testing.
We have an exact replica of the site backed up daily on our stage server, so we’ve been trying various things there. Today (after again deleting all other plugins and converting to Twentyseventeen) we went as far a deleting GeoDirectory (instead of just deactivating) and associated premium plugins as well. However even after selecting the option in the core plugin to “Remove all data when deleted?” in Uninstall Settings, it looks like it’s still there.
We checked the database and all GD tables remained. Upon installing GD (core only) from the Plugins Directory, search still only returns site articles/post and no listings.
Would appreciate any additional feedback or other options to try.
Thanks!
Okay, I do see console errors if I manually enter https in the URL, but clicking on the menu item or typing “www.inmaricopa.com” in the URL bar, simply takes me to the HTTP version with no errors. I’ll ask our team to check on mixed content and maybe add force HTTP throughout.
However, as I mentioned, I’m unclear how it could be a plugin conflict when the same search issue occurs even when GeoDirectory plugins are the only ones running and we switch to Twentyseventeen. Any thoughts?

Can you suggest some CSS for this? Maybe assigning a minimum height and limiting subcategories (or assigning to different parent categories) might give us an acceptable look. Thanks!
Hi Guust,
That is an interesting thread and looks like some kind of invoicing module is still pending release. I am simply looking for the ability to make a package “taxable” so that we can add required sales tax to the purchase amount. Any option for this?
Thanks!

So sorry, could you clarify “adding a widget above and sort it by random…” for me? Thanks!
Thanks so much, seems to be working. Appreciate your feedback!
Listing was downgraded by viewing the listing on front end when logged in as admin, selecting “Edit Listing” then changing the plan from Premium (which allowed for images) to Standard (which does not), then selecting “Update.”
I now just upgraded and then downgraded the listing myself and it worked as you described. Doesn’t make sense to me, any thoughts? Tried yesterday several times, on that specific listing before bothering you guys.
At some point, the listing was “claimed” by the client. Would that have any impact? I’ll check with client directly to see if they have any additional feedback. Thanks for your help!
This reply has been marked as private. Thanks for the link. Can the classifieds section co-exist with the directory, i.e. running separately at the same time? GD settings suggest/require the selection of a “home” page for the directory (like gd-home) but this environment would need two home pages, right?
I’m not exactly clear about how to direct classified users to classified plans and Directory users to directory plans. Would that be with different landing pages? Do you have any functional examples of someone (or in-house) running a GD as a classifieds solution? Are you able to offer and suggestion at all about how to resolve our original conflict in the meantime?
Thanks!
Ray
