Unfortunately that could be very time consuming. The problem is that the destination I want to merge a number of others into is ID 1 and number 1 on the list not sorted alphabetically. Seems to be because it’s marked as default although I haven’t selected default city. I will try though renaming locations to go to front of list and in my case should be achievable but for anyone with a very large number of cities could be a big problem
Basically so when you click in the near field you either type the destination or select your location as per this photoshopped screenshot.
Yes that’s right Alex just those 2 no other suggestions.

This reply has been marked as private.I tried switching off the autocomplete in advanced search but has no effect on location field just the listing field. It allows me to control the number of autocomplete suggestions if I enter Restaurant for example in the listing field which is great.
As far as I can see the Location autocomplete is setup using the option in the locations settings but only gives the option to turn on or off not limit results, ideally I need to be able to limit results so that only ‘Near My Location’ shows rather than the uncontrollable list of locations as per screen shot as I don’t want users searching within individual locations just across the entire site.
Is there any way I could limit it to just show ‘Near My Location’ using CSS? Ideally though at some point this limitation would be added to the settings.
Many thanks Kiran it was one of the few things I hadn’t thought to check. Seems fine now but will set up new thread if issue happens again …
