    Sorry if I’m posting in wrong place but wasn’t sure whether there was a place to post feature requests/suggestions.

    I have a problem with the advance search search bar with autocomplete in the Location field.

    Currently if I enable auto complete of the locations field in the search bar the first item on the list is ‘Near My Location’ followed by a list of destinations.

    The list of destinations detracts from the way I want the site to be used, I need Auto complete to just show ‘Near My Location’ in the search field without the list of locations showing after it.

    I’m about to see if there is a geoexpert who can sort this for me but first was wondering if this was either on a road map for change or could be added as it seems a pretty logical way of controlling the search bar

    Sorry, the option for hiding Near field suggestions also hides the ‘Near Me’ suggestion.

    To make sure I understood, what you want is for the user to be able to either 1) type in a location and click search or 2) click on the ‘Near Me’ suggestion

    Only those 2, no other suggestions. Is that right?

    Basically so when you click in the near field you either type the destination or select your location as per this photoshopped screenshot.

    Thanks for your reply. Kindly send over your Website URL here in question so that I could check on it and see if it’s possible to hide the “Near : My Location” when you click on the near field using custom CSS

    Thanks for your reply. Try inserting the custom CSS code below into Wp > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and see if it helps. 

    ul.gdlmls-near li{display:none!important;}

ul.gdlmls-near li:first-child {
  display:block!important;
}
