    Thanks.

I’ve signed up for standard cloud (not the WordPress Cloud Hosting) and Hostgator have assured me that caching can be turned off so fingers crossed…

6GB and 6 Core CPU ok??? I don’t know but I hope so.

    Regards

    Ok thank you.

I’ve been advised to move to Cloud Hosting and now that I’ll need an SSL…so I’ll try and combine this change i.e. free SSL with Cloud Hosting plan.

    So…

    1) Is there anything else I need to know (or request) prior to requesting Cloud Hosting with SSL?

    2) Also, do I need to turn of caching in my hosting plan? If so, how? (I’m on (or will be in the next few days) Hostgator Cloud.

    3) With GeoDirectory, do I have to enter all the towns and cities in my country manually? Or do they populate once a listing is made in that city/town?

    Thanks

Ok thanks…so adding CSS to a child theme will increase page load speeds (compared to using it within GD plugin.

    Thanks

    Great.

    Thank you both.

With regards to the child theme, is it still necessary/recommended if the CSS is added with the GD plugin?

I only ask because in Divi theme (Elegant Themes), when I update Divi I don’t lose the CSS that I’ve used to date (or this just specific to Divi…i.e. if I went to a different theme an update would delete CSS).

    Thanks

    Thanks Guust…

It was indeed a photoshop issue.

Despite showing as a transparent image, it wasn’t. The white/grey blocks that indicate transparency where in actual fact an image!

No cool because I bought the pin images as .png specifically as they were advertised as transparent .png files!

    All sorted now.

    Thanks

    Jeremy
