OK, I like it. I now see that it actually IS creating an account, it just doesn’t feel like it to them. And without the email address checking process.
Except for this serious security problem…
I’ve got it set for new listing default status to be “pending review.”
But I just entered info for an event using a random name and totally not real email address.
And it published the event straight away! Can’t have that, obviously.
Anybody could publish ANYTHING to my site with zero security. That’s not what I was going for, as I didn’t know that was possible. Is that a new feature? Anyway, I’ll turn that on for now and see how it goes. Some nice advantages over forcing everybody to sign up for an account.
Hmm, I don’t know why the site would have come up unavailable for you, I’ve been working on it a lot the last 24-48 hours and haven’t experienced any downtime myself. But whatever, moving on to some good if mysterious news…
My Add Clubs form works now.
My theory is that while doing some work on the CPT, nothing with the _intention_ of addressing this problem, someting cleared cache or a setting that was missing got filled in.
Oops, sorry Guust, I never thanked you for helping me solve my second problem here. Unhiding that css did the trick.
Unfortunately the problem I _started_ this thread for is back. For non-logged-in users my add listing page is only displaying the username/password form, not the registration form. Multiple browsers, pc and mobile.
Unfortunately looking back at this thread it doesn’t seem like we diagnosed the problem or did much, if anything, to fix it. You did mention clearing GD Booster but that’s not a thing with V2 yet.

Oh hey, I guess you already set up Snippets and did that for me, eh? Thanks!(I owed you an easy one as we deal with the date range dealy, lol.)
Sorry Alex, bad news.
I went through and added start and/or end dates to those events that were missing them. I then double checked to make sure all of my events have both a start date and an end date. (set as a function of “X times” or “only until” in the case of recurring events.)
Nevertheless, she (the big) persisted. Yeah, still getting the fubar.
(I was so optimistic, too! I mean, I was gonna be all “Hey man that’s something you guys really gotta fix, a missing data field in the back end shouldn’t fubar the front end like that.” but I figured V2 is beta so fixing that bug would be something for the full launch checklist. At least it was gonna fix my problem though.)
