ThanksThis is the message that pops up when you add a child field to a parent field in a tab (also see screenshot): ‘Name and Icon settings are not used for sub items except fieldset.’
Correct, you do not set an icon for a sub-item here, but in the custom field.
Here is an example: https://wpgeo.directory/starter/places/united-states/california/san-francisco/foine-palace/Thanks

GD > Settings > General tab > Dummy DataThanks
We are in the process of tidying things up, and the new documentation (for the new V2 version only) is being built here:

If you search in the “search for” field, the results will only return listings that have united states in the title, description, categories or tags.
You need to use the “near” search field. Thanks

Hi Mark
it looks like you can’t have icons for Custom Fields in v2
You add the icons in the custom field settings, see image 1.
I appear to have the Place name (Gravetye Manor) appearing under the tab for no apparent reason
We would need to look at your settings to answer this.
the Custom Fields aren’t enclosed in a box as they are in v1.
That is a matter of adding some CSS.
I’m not too sure if I’m creating the More Info tab in the correct way
You are doing it correctly 🙂
Thanks
There is no need to add locations, but you can if you want to.
Locations are added automatically when listings are added.
Adding locations but no listings will just create empty pages for the location.Adding locations should not change addresses of listings, but editing locations will.
Dummy listings are added to the default location, which in your case is Santa Cruz.

Thanks
You’re welcome 🙂
April 16, 2020 at 5:11 am in reply to: Neighborhood appears broken. What is it supposed to do? #540534Go to https://supportyourtown.online/wp-admin/post.php?post=130&action=edit&classic-editor and click on “Set Address On Map”.
You should see the marker move to the correct position and the neighborhood will be filled in.
Works on the front end too.April 16, 2020 at 4:55 am in reply to: Neighborhood appears broken. What is it supposed to do? #540531I cannot get past your flywheel login.
That also may be the reason the Google API does not work well.
Try it on a live site first.
Let us know.
