There is something really wrong with your database.Cannot get past your Coming Soon screen.
All people can post if they register, and they need to be logged in.
The best solution is to ask GoDaddy to move you to normal hosting, instead of their WordPress hosting. That seems to be the only solution at GoDaddy; their WP hosting is OK for static blog sites, but not for more complex sites using GD.
The switcher gives all listings IN a location.
The search function gives all listings within the set area NEAR or AROUND the location entered into the Near field.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#searchThe problem with the “near me” is most likely because of the caching.
Can you post your URL and admin details in a private post, please, so we can have a look for you.
You cannot have a region called ALL. All locations have to follow Google’s API standard: city – region – country.
Please do not post private details in other people’s topics, you shared your login details with that person.
I cannot login with those details. The password seems to be wrong. This reply has been marked as private. Thanks for letting us know.
Your site does not geolocate for me on first load because you have disabled geolocate for first load. If you want geolocation “on arrival” you should not disable geolocation on “first load”.
You are not using the location switcher (I added it) so you were probably stuck in TN somewhere without realising.
You should not use GoDaddy’s caching, please turn that off. It is not compatible with GD.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/search/?bbp_search=godaddyAre you talking about the images uploaded as part of a listing? They are not uploaded using the Media uploader and there is no option to add a title or alt text to the images. The Alt text is taken from the file name.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#imagesCan you check GD > Design > Navigation > Allow post type to add from frontend
It looks like you did not add “Place” there. -
