Kevin, I am sure you can upload all of them at once, but not if there is an error in the file.
Break the file in half and try then, and keep halving until it works. Unless you have a better way of locating the erroneous row in the file.1. I can see 3 images uploaded to the test place, so do not understand quite what you mean. Is that issue resolved?
2. I need geodirectory-de_DE.PO to have a look.
Can you upload that to /wp-content/languages/geodirectoryI need access to your database, can you post your control panel details please.
You should not have any problem with country duplication if:
A. do NOT add locations from “manage location” (or you will have to translate again at “translate countries”.
B. Just add locations by adding listings, then the duplication does not happen.
C. When uploading using CSV, use Germany as the country, not Deutschland.I will discuss this with Stiofan later too, it might need some tweaks to the coding.
February 27, 2015 at 12:32 pm in reply to: CSV upload no longer working on site and other major problems #32254I have now successfully uploaded your CSV twice.
Just try one listing at the time, it does work.
If there is one listing with an error, nothing will upload.Let’s wait for Stiofan.
It seems you have no widgets added to any sections except the sidebar.
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/layout/Best idea is to add widgets to the different sections so you can see what happens.
And make sure you follow all the steps here first too: http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/basic-installation/If you get stuck, post your admin details in a private message.
February 27, 2015 at 12:05 pm in reply to: CSV upload no longer working on site and other major problems #32244Hi Kevin
There must be some errors in your CSV, because I was able to upload the CSV without any problem after deleting all but the first entry. I suggest try to upload in smaller sections so you can find which one is the culprit.I’ll notify Stiofan about the slow loading of the home page map.
Thanks for letting us know you figured it out.
It all seems fine to me.
Have you tried clearing all your caches?
Does it behave the same in another browser?
Does it behave the same if you are logged out?
You might want to clear you geolocation as well, see http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/faqs/how-can-i-clear-geo-location-settings/Let us know how you went.
February 26, 2015 at 10:17 pm in reply to: Move List view additional items (ratings stars, etc) to left under thumbnail #32206That should be possible with restyling the relevant elements.
This should get you on the way: http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/customizing-your-style/
We can provide assistance with little tweaks for errors etc, but if you want to redesign the layout, I suggest you post in the GD Jobs section. This reply has been marked as private. There are newsletter plugins that will send newest posts to subscribers, like https://wordpress.org/plugins/newsletter/
Don’t know if you can automate it to be sent regularly or not though.I had no trouble at all uploading an image from both frontend and backend.
Maybe the file size you wanted to add was bigger than the limit allowed by WP.@ BL
No, that is not possible, unless you set up a custom field where your users can manually link to their events and vice versa.@openmindtrips
Did we ever resolve this for you? I thought we did? This reply has been marked as private. The link Paolo posted will take you to the home page when you are logged in.
You are best to add the GD login widget to your sidebar. That will show a register link if you are not logged in.The reviews page on OpenMindTrips is custom built.
oops, that was the link I meant to paste at the very beginning, instead I posted the link to the syncing twice:
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/core-place-settings/#custom
will show you how to add the custom fields to your listings page.Add this to your CSS to show excerpts in all grid layouts:
.geodir_category_list_view li.geodir-gridview .geodir-content .geodir-entry-content { display: inline; }Excerpts are hidden by default except for list view and grid2, because usually it gets to busy. It is different if you do not use a sidebar.
