When you get an email that a new listing has been submitted, you can just click on the quick edit of the new listing, and change from Draft to Published.
You can just go to the Places page in admin, and all Draft listings can be verified. That is your admin log.
Can you post your Admin details, phpMyadmin (control panel) and FTP details please in a private message, so we can get to the bottom of this.
This is something specific to your setup. Can you confirm this only happens if you update GD core or also at other updates? (because a bit earlier you wrote “when I update the theme”)
https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-captcha/ might be helpful, including for Kiran?
Can you give us a link of where the BandB is?
If you search near Yorkshire, it will search within your set radius of the center of Yorkshire.
Also, “bed and breakfast” has to be in the title or description or categories.
Searching for “bed and breakfast” will not return B&B.You had hidden all Places from GD > design > map > SHOW / HIDE POST TYPE AND CATEGORY ON MAP
You did not add “places” to all the options at GD > design > navigation.
Register link goes to the page you linked it to. What do you think it should go to?
/?geodir_signup ?
Then you have to link it tp that page. Not really, sorry.

You can set any new listing to draft until approved.
GD > design > listings > New listing default statusAre you using the Customizr theme?
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/listing-titles-show-twice-and-other-2-problems/You had 2 locations in Italia in the locations database.
Italia was added back to the country database.
All events were still in Italia, I changed that. This is a bug I thought was fixed.
Notifications are using the default location rather than the actual location.
I put it back on the bug list. Can we have a URL and admin details so we can have a look for you.
When importing new listings using CSV, do use Italy as the country, NOT Italia.
If you use anything else than the English name, the system will think you added a new country.
Do not update or add any listings until Paolo fixes your database.
Once that is done, we can check whether you still have a problem.I’ll hand this to Paolo:
1. I have cleaned up the country list in the database and removed Italia and left Italy (there were 2 Italia’s in the menu when adding a location at “manage locations”.
2. I have also cleaned up the location list and changed all locations to Italy where they were Italia. This might have resulted in some duplicates, which can be tidied up by magnaromagna.
3. There are quite a few listings in the Place Detail table that use Italia as the country, where that should be Italy. When updating one of these listings in WP, it recreates the duplicate country.
4. I think that once we change “Italia” to “Italy” in the country column of the place-detail table, all should be fixed. Can you please post your WP admin details and some relevant links to posts that illutrate your issue.
