That is strange. Does the data show in Chrome in the frontend? Are you using a caching plugin?
Can you give us your URL and WP admin details in a private message, please. Not sure when the next update will be released, it is being tested for the moment. It introduces a number of new important features so the developers are testing, testing and doing some more tests to make sure it works.
I’ll alert Stiofan for you, but he is busy with fine-tuning the next release.
So in the widget they are sorted by number of reviews first, and then alphabetic.
On the listing page they are sorted by number of reviews first, and then by date submitted.
And you prefer both the widget and the listing page to sort by number of reviews first, and then by rating.I think that would need custom coding, you might find some useful info here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/order-of-listings-by-those-with-a-logo/The simplest is using the translation file for the core plugin.
You will find “No listings found which match your selection.”
Change that to whatever you like.Personally I like simple themes. Themes that have lots of functionalities only slow things down. Less is more when it comes to designing your site, and all functionalities can be added by plugins, which you should minimise as well.
The looks of a theme is very much styling of the elements every theme uses. All themes use a header, footer, sidebars etc.
There are plenty of GDF sites you would not recognise as a GDF site once people change colors and fonts etc.You can change themes down the track, there will be some minor adjustments required like resetting menus and widgets. But you are not locked in.
The decision is yours 🙂
It seems some customization or the theme thinks the header is not part of the page, so when the page reloads in a new tab, the top of the content goes behind the header.
Have you clicked “Set on map” after you entered the address?
If you don’t, the latitude and longitude will not be set in the database, and the listing will not be located correctly.Hi Cory, upload the Events addon, and activate.
Then add links at GD > design > navigation and start adding events.
It is just like the Places, but also has a calendar to set your event dates.Let us know how you went.
That will depend on the theme. If it uses the Google API then you most likely will get a conflict, because that should only be used once per page.
What would be the benefit to you to use a directory theme? Unlikely you will be using the functionalities of 2 directories at the same time? You should only enter something like 45 there and that will set the width of the listing at 45%.
So if you enter 100%, you change the CSS to 100%% and FF probably ignores errors like that, but the other browsers are a bit more forgiving. So just enter 100 and you will get your desired result.
In style.css at Appearance > editor, you will find
#inner-header { padding: 40px 0;}You can change the number to anything smaller.
try this
.geodir-tags {display: none;}1. Was a reported bug, and will be fixed in the upcoming version.
2. Have you checked what Stiofan asked here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/my-favorites-is-not-showing-under-my-dashboard/#post-19398
Maybe you can ask the plugin makers whether they think it will work with GD, and whether they provide a money back guarantee if it does not?
“It was “Shareaholic | share buttons, analytics, related content” plugin adding that element style.”
