Did you follow all the steps at http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/basic-installation/
Some other useful info: http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/dos-and-donts/
If you can’t fix it, post your URL and admin details in a private message, and we will have a look for you.
Here is an example of 3 levels for one CPT, it is all set as 3 incremental price packages for the same CPT.
http://www.bookhinterland.com.au/bookhinterland-listings/
I hope that is clear enough?
Feel free to submit a test listing there. You would have to change the data in the locations table, AND for each listing in the geodir_gd_place_detail table.
Only changing in the geodir_gd_place_detail table will not change any of the locations at all.The safest and cleanest would be to use the merge tool, that will also clean up your capitization issues, and automatically correct all the listings in all the locations being merged.
You also have locations without listings it seems, so they only create empty pages.
Hi Ajay
It seems you added an extra map to the detail page, although it already has a map.
That might be the conflict.
Shortly a very improved version will be released that fixes a few issues with the share location plugin, so you simply might turn it off until then?If you need us to look in more detail, post your admin details please.
OK, I’ll set some time aside for this later today.
This is what Paolo means:
Go to GD > design > navigation > Show geodirectory navigation in selected menu locations > select your main menu there. You maybe already did that.
Then go to GD > multilocations > settings > Show location switcher in menu > YES
When you look at GD > multilocations > manage locations, you will see some locations that do not refer to a city – region – country, but they will include “all”, for example paris – all – france.
That is because you have not set the location correctly when adding the listing in the admin area.
All locations need to be in this format: city – region – country. This might be handy too: http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/faqs/how-do-i-merge-locations/
That must be some special CSS issue, I’ll get Stiofan to look at that for you.
Yes, that is normally standard, at least if you mean that you want to show the star rating: http://wpgeo.directory/attractions/
Or am I misunderstanding your question?
It is best to let the Google API decide how to divide the regions, that way when your users add listings, the locations will be organised in the same fashion.
If you go to yoursite.com/add-listing, move the marker to Rome on the map and see what the Google API suggests.
At any rate, it is a good idea to keep an eye on how locations are organised as listings grow, to make sure that things are consistent.
See also http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/faqs/how-do-i-merge-locations/You can use coupons for any CPT: GD > Prices and payments > coupons > add coupon > post type > choose one or more than one.
For any other improvement suggestions you can use the feature request system, read the message to the right on this page under “Feature Requests”.
Add this to your child theme CSS:
ul {list-style-type: disc;}
ol {list-style-type: decimal;}http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/customizing-your-style/
http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_list.aspLet us know how you went.
Hi Kat, as I said in another post, you should just create 3 price packages for one CPT.
Can you explain in more detail what you mean with different “designs”? If you mean that the different levels can have different features, then you only need one post type.I cannot access your site at all for the moment.
Look at the image you posted: on the top you have a link to GDF options, that would not be there unless the GDF theme is active somehow.
Is the blue star theme a child theme of the GDF theme? This reply has been marked as private.Have you been able to restore your database?
Unless you have a database backup, there is nothing we can do, I’m afraid. -
