I am a bit confused.
Do you mean you want to add a link to Events and Add Event to your main menu?GD > Design > Navigation > Add relevant bits to relevant part of the menu
I think it is a one-off theme designed by Paolo and Stiofan, so let’s ask them to look at your question 🙂
Pictures should automatically resize to max 800×800. So if you upload a square 1800×1800, it will resize to 800×600.
A banner of 1000×100 will resize to 800×80.I have not tested, but it is possible there is a difference if you upload the images using the front end or the back end.
Make sure your settings at WP > Settings > Media > Organise my uploads into month- and year-based folders > is set to YES
No multiple copies will be made, resizing is to prevent slow load times and to minimise use of server space.
Optimum size is 800×600
I can confirm this, this seems to be a bug in the latest version:
http://wizztravel.com/listing/nicaragua/rivas/cardenas/hotel-ecolodge-blue-morpho/#post_video
The video was there before (I added it myself and tested), and I have checked all settings and whether I use the correct coding.Changed to a cat and a subcat now.
Still the same.Strange, I have done the same here:
Added an event to 2 cats: http://goldroo.net/events/concerts/numero-tres/
But there is only 1 showing at http://goldroo.net/events/concerts/numero-tres/
I’ll get Stiofan to have a look.
Adrian, that is what I meant, sort of, just mixed up the locations. The pins are not “missing”, they are just included in a cluster which is too far away. And therefore it “looks” like there are no listings in Drogheda, because they are included in the Dublin cluster.
Reducing the radius, if that is possible, would improve the visual, ie it would look more likely there were listings in Drogheda. The simplest is to make sure that your locations exist in the geodir_post_locations table. The best way to do that is to go GD > Multilocations and make sure all locations are fine there. This might come in handy: http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/faqs/how-do-i-merge-locations/
Then use that info to update the post_locations column of the geodir_gd_place_detail table, in this format [city-slug],[region-slug],[country-slug]
You also need to populate the post_city column with the City-name etc.Just do a few and check with your switcher and front-end to see how it is working.
Interesting … I cannot replicate that on my test site.
Does that also happen with normal listings for you, or only with events? The header always belongs to your theme. If you use Avada, you will have an Avada header. http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/layout/
Do you have different price packages?
How long do they last? [a few days?]
What is the setting on expiry? [set to draft?]You should normally put your default location first, and then load the sample data. http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/basic-installation/
But if you do it in reverse order, the data fake addresses will change but the geo locations will not.
Mmmmm, maybe not, have a look at this topic: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/limit-1-listing-per-user/
November 25, 2014 at 7:59 am in reply to: WPGEO does NOT work, does not assign listings to proper location catagory #22524You have to remove the -1 in thegeodir_gd_place_detail table, there are six listings there for south-dakota which still have a -1.
You have corrected the locations in the geodir_post_locations, but not the listings table.Thag is not possible just with GD, but maybe can be achieved with a third party plugin.
