If you mean that it is set to the full width of the page while the rest is not you can add something like this to the child theme’s CSS:
.geodir_popular_post_category {width: 1040px;}
You can add BuddyPress and then redirect the login page a la http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/redirecting-the-login-page/
I think that would most likely work.Or wait until GD new author page like Paolo says.
@ blerimkrosi
You have not sent us your URL yet, and your WP admin details. You can do this in a private message.
Your problem is theme related, so we need to know what theme you use, and we need to be able to investigate the CSS.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/location-switcher-not-working-correctly/page/2/#post-22128You kind of hijacked this topic, so I split it.
Hi Holger
You can use the translation file, and add anything you like to the
“* Indicates mandatory fields”
bit on the add-listing form.http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/translate-core/
You can add HTMl there as well.
That might be simpler than changing the template.
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/customizing-geodirectory-templates/I also suggested this if you did not want to use a 3rd party plugin:
If you do not want to use any other plugin, follow these steps to force people to verify their email address:
1. WP > Settings > General > Membership > Anyone can register > YES
2. Implement http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/redirecting-the-login-page/
Redirect to wp-login.php
3. GD > General > General > Allow user to see wp-admin area > YESTry adding a listing as a shop-owner, you already have the Add Listing added to your menu. Just logout as admin, or use another browser. That will show you how it works. Or have a go at the demo at http://wpgeo.directory/
You will need to enable user registration, before you can add a listing as another user.
That is all you have to do to implement what you want; it is all set up already.
The option at GD > Permalinks > “Add city slug in listing urls” can only be used if you use the site for only one region and one country.
I changed that and it seems that fixed things, can you check.
I’ll flag this for Stiofan. I got the same thing (sorry 🙁 )
This is the message I get:The webpage at http://YOURSITE/wp-admin/admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=paymentmanager_fields&subtab=geodir_payment_general_options has resulted in too many redirects.
OK Amir
What you described in the last post is exactly what GD will do for you without anything extra to be implemented.Shop owners can submit a listing, and can add all these things.
And customers can communicate if the shop-keeper adds an email address to their listing. That will add a contact form to the shop’s listing page (you can see that on your london listing page). There is really nothing additional you need to do as per your description.
In style.css you should find the class .geodir-loc-bar-in
Change the color there.Hi yves
Can you send us your Url and sdmin details please.I alerted Stiofan.
November 24, 2014 at 4:24 am in reply to: Uploaded listings being set as Paid , not Free listings #22396In your price settings, you have set the paid listing as the first one, or the default one.
Before uploading listings, just swap that around temporarily. For the already imported ones, edit the package in each listing, or change the package ID in the place detial table in the database.
The problem seems to be that your default location does not have a country assigned to it. That basically seems to render the address and map system useless.
No idea how that happened, but can you post your phpmyadmin details (or control panel), then we can look at the database and hopefully fix it. -
