You can create nested categories by choosing a parent category when you create the category. More info @ http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/places-categories-and-listings/#examples
When you add the category to your advanced search, it will show like the image submitted by Tom @ https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/nested-categories-in-advanced-search-form/#post-16009This reply has been marked as private.Paolo, I fixed the error, see the post I was writing when you were looking 🙂
I tested it too, and the event widget is not behaving like the popular post widget. It seems to filter even if not asked to filter.
I think this might be a little but, Paolo.Assign them all to a particular user first:
Places > bulk edit > author > change. In the database, change claimed from 0 to 1 in the geodir_gd_place_detail table.
Your price package for that type of listing was set to allow only for 200 characters for the tags.
I changed that to unlimited now, because the tags for this listing as you can see now is a lot more than 200 characters.
That is why it threw an error.
If you want to change it to a limited amount again, you will have to delete some tags from some listings or it will happen again. If you translate “Business Owner” you can add any HTML to that translation, so you could highlight the link.
You can also change the text in the modal using that translation file.
For example, you can change the “what is the claim process” link including HTML if you like, and also change the text that shows when clicking on that link. See image attached.Would that solve your issue?

Maybe you can find a use for the coupons?
How did you create your locations?
None of the countries listed in the location switcher are countries I ever heard of.
Can you post your admin details please.
We need to look at your location settings.I think that plugin you mention (or another one) is interfering with your .htaccess file. It is no longer writable. Have a look at the bottom of your WP Permalinks pages.
I suggest to de-activate that plugin and see whether that fixes it.
I might get Stiofan to have a look too.I am not so sure now, you have installed GD on a multisite, but GD is not multisite ready yet. So that might be your problem too.
November 3, 2014 at 11:05 am in reply to: Where can a logged in customer see their advert expiry date? #20361I don’t think they can see it anywhere, but I’ll ask Stiofan as well.
I think the Events widget only works on a GD page, and your homepage is a normal WP page. Because your homepage does not filter the events from the database, it cannot display any events.
Paolo, is that correct?
I tried to add it direct to your homepage widget area, but got the same result as your shortcode.

The settings are at GD > Prices and payments > Notifications.Only listings with an expiry date get an expiry notice.
If your free listings are set to expire, they will get a notice. -
