Your pages are redirecting to HTTPS somehow, I think that might be the problem.
Can’t quite figure out why that is happening. Must be one of your plugins? There are no settings for it, either it is activated or not.
It will automatically ask new visitors to share their location; so you might not see the functionality unless you clear your cache etc.1. That grey area that is overlapping the map can be moved left or right or up or down in relation to the map by adjusting the CSS. Not sure what you mean with more extensively; it will show all categories and subcategories for the post type being displayed on the map.
2. You can hide the breadcrumbs like “Home > Places > Netherlands > North Holland > Amsterdam > Restaurants > Restaurant Nacional” by CSS.
3. A listing in a subcategory is automatically also in the category.
So if you untick the category, you are asking to hide all listings in the subcategory as well. I hope I make sense.4. GD listings are a type of WordPress custom post type.
So normal WP posts cannot be added to GD posts, you need to create a GD listing.Anything else, just ask 🙂
Might be the “Simple URL” plugin – I guess that might rewrite URLs?
So any problems left?
If you do, describe them as good as you can, and give me a link so I can have a look, and try to fix it.How did you set them to expire after a year?
Because it looks like you set the one year expiry in the backend, and the system has used the very first date of 1970-01-01, and now has figured out it is already 2014 so has expired it at 1971-01-01, ie a year later.I’ll alert Stiofan to look at this too.
Stiofan, this might be related to https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/no_payment_method_msg/#post-19782 ?
Stiofan, this might be a bug? See https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/listing-preview-empty/#post-19795
I alerted Stiofan again to have a look at this topic.
I don’t quite understand what you mean with “the Titles still do not change e.g. I have numbered the Holiday Lets however all the descriptions remain as just “Holiday Let” – without the number.”
You can change a title of a listing at anytime, either from the backend or the frontend.
To NOT expand the categories on the map, tick the “collapse” box at Appearance > widgets > GD Home > GD home map widget > Collapse child/sub categories ?
Can you post your admin details, and I’ll get Stiofan to have a look.
You have a lot of locations that do not exist, like your default location, and others like “all, all, all”.
You have “United States” and “United State” as a country.
That needs tidying up, because that will confuse your maps.To clean that up, do this:
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/faq/how-do-i-merge-locations/Also, using a caching plugin interferes with the dynamic page creation of GD.
I don’t quite understand why your listings or listing page does not work.
I think it might be a conflict with the Events plugin, so you could try de-activating that.
I also will get Stiofan to have a look for you. It’s called Geodir Share Location in your downloads area.
What do you mean with “crashed your site”?
Can you post your URL and WP admin details, and can you explain exactly what the problem is? Then we can have a look. You can reverse the update if you backed everything up before the update; then you can restore that. But that will not give you all the fixes of the new versions of course.
You can only show all markers of one custom post type at the same time.
Are you trying to add different custom post types at the same time? -
