Forwarded to Stiofan …
Which translation file are you talking about?
There is no GD translation file that has Italy in it.
It has to be one of your translation plugins, I think.I have been able to add Brindisi from the front end, which makes me think that it is the Native Dashboard plugin, which interferes with GD and the Google API in your WP admin.
Remove the it_IT.mo file from wp-content/languages folder and see whether that fixes it. I think that is the file that is tripping you up.
To change how your theme looks, go to
http://alllistingsrealestate.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=_optionsThe other website is not a GeoDirectory website but a GeoTheme website.
I think you might have deleted your virtual GD pages, look at this article about fixing that:

August 18, 2014 at 2:32 am in reply to: Seeking GeoDir developer to put more focus on Reviews #12385Hi Michael, just a few questions about your brief:
1. Can you clarify? On what pages do you want to see which reviews?
GD standard is to have reviews on the detail page of the listing.
You can add a GD > Recent Reviews widget to any page as well.2. Do you want to get reviews from another site?
3. I guess you mean that users can submit information about a ‘business’ that is not theirs? Should be able to achieve with the Payments add-on.
4. Making good use of custom fields would achieve that.
5. Might require custom coding.

Are you talking about the test site for this topic or your own installation? On your own installation it will only show locations already saved in your database. That is why you have the search box, so you can type in a different city and wait for the API to locate it.
Let me know if I am misunderstanding you.
Do you have any locations saved?
Can you give us your WP admin details so we can try to figure this out?I notice that when trying to add a place in Italy, Google’s suggestion of Italy changes to Italia.
I also see that there are two countries in the list of countries: Italia and Italy.
You must have made some customization or translation somewhere that is confusing the system. I do not think you should have different Italy’s in your list 🙁
Can you fix that problem and then try again? You might also get some more info here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/listing-detail-shown-as-geodire-listing/page/2/Why not setting the DNS to look at the subdirectory?
I alerted Stiofan to this.
Can youbelaborate? What is not happening that you were expecting? How is it different to other browsers?I was able to save a location in Australia, but it does not seem to like Italian places? Sorry, might be for Paolo this one.
You have no categories set up for your Places or Events: you need at least one category before a listing can be saved.
I alerted Stiofan for you.
PurpleEdge, I alerted Paolo for your question.
