Can you post your WP admin details, so I can have a look for you.
Not too sure this is a problem with the suburb name. Even if you just search for Wiggle n Groove, using middle field of your search, the listing shows because of the auto-completer, but the search page does not return it.
Did you check your multilocations after you entered the listing? You might have created two entries for Hamilton North by accident.
If you enable the location switcher, it is easy to see if you have duplicate locations.Thanks for confirming that, Ajay.
I alerted Vikas for you.August 11, 2014 at 12:49 am in reply to: Text in listing detail tabs does not break properly when wrapping #11574Yep, that’s an OK page for it.
The other place you could add it is Appearance > Editor > Child theme > style.css.August 10, 2014 at 11:47 pm in reply to: Text in listing detail tabs does not break properly when wrapping #11571Add this to the stylesheet of your child theme (I am guessing you are using GDF):
p {
-ms-word-break: normal;
-ms-word-wrap: normal;
word-break: normal;
word-break: normal;
}Ajay, I’ve been keeping an eye on your messages, but it is up to Vikas now and it was weekend. Vikas does not work in the weekend.
Just a few comments for you and Vikas once he gets time:
Not sure what you mean with “uninstalling”: do you mean de-activating or deleting all the files using FTP? That is normally not necessary.
Please do not delete and change any code or other things if you want Vikas to assist you. That is exactly what might be causing your problems, and it means Vikas has to start again.
Just let Vikas know what the problems are and let him fix it, during his work hours which do not include the weekend.“- Listing map widget was working anywhere I placed it.”
Listing map widget is only for listings pages, not Home and not Detail and not SearchYou have removed the new code from your child theme’s functions.php file.
“Location based listing page used to pop up as soon as I visited the domain”
This will not happen again once you told your browser to locate you “forever”. You will have to empty your browser cache if you want to be asked again.“Listing maps used to show up in the themes main sidebar.”
They seem to do again. That is just a matter of adding the right widgets that probably were removed when the virtual pages were removed.Please can you let us know clearly what the remaining problems are.
Manilaboy, I am not that clever as the rest of the team, but I am good at thinking outside the box.
What about using a membership plugin, and it costs the same price to join as it is to submit a basic listing.
You can then set your basic listing to free.
So claiming a listing would be the same price as submitting a listing …Just thinking … as I do …
I think that you might have added the wrong map to the search page; your map in the sidebar seems to display what you want (unless I misunderstand your question). Please check your widgets.
Please advise?
I guess you are trying to add them to the More Info tab?
You should be able to add half of them to a fieldset, give the fieldset a fixed width and then float the fieldset to the left.
Some CSS like this:
.field-group {width: 250px, float: left}This reply has been marked as private.Manilaboy, you need to have a region and country, or your listing cannot be filtered by GD.
You also need a lat and lng or the listing cannot be placed on a map.But what you can do is this: drag the marker to approximately where you like it, that will change the address, region, country, lat and lng.
Changing the street address only will not change anything else if you do not click “Set the marker”.
So you can just add a space or “online business” as street address.Example here: http://goldroo.net/attractions/australia/queensland/cedar-creek/trades/the-home-of-guust/
I dragged the marked to somewhere I live, and then changed the street address.This reply has been marked as private.Hi Jason
I just had a look at your project brief (had not realised no developers had shown any interest yet) and this should all be possible with GD off-the-shelf plugins, especially if the 200 products can be categorised somehow.
I can’t do phone calls (I am in Australia) but I can do Skype or you can communicate with email. I’ll post that in the next post.
It might be best to contact me by email if you want to exchange private data, I would need to know a bit more about your products etc.Hi Jason
After reading your post, I had a search for any of your earlier posts.
I found two support posts you started and both are waiting for your reply.
Support will only know that further action is required on a topic, when you reply after they ask questions that would allow them to further assist.The team behind GeoDirectory are the same people as GeoTheme, so you can expect the same dedication and support.
The jobs board is mainly to let developers that are familiar with GD (but who are not part of the GD team) know that you want a hand. Please see the Jobs policy on the right hand side of this page. The jobs forum is not to get paid support, support is free for premium members, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/support-policy/
Please see also my post in the jobs forum.
