Hi Josh, I have asked John to have a look.
It has to be as it is, it’s not a bug.
The system looks through your saved locations first, and then it goes and looks in the external geo database.
So it cannot work as only a drop down, or only a connection to the external database.
I hope I make sense.Hi Rita, welcome
Have a look at this

Like I said above: The login process is under consideration for possible future redesign. If you can’t wait, you can post a job at the Jobs forum.
WP admin > GD > Multilocations > Manage locations > Edit one of your locations
Down the bottom before the Save button it says:
Action for listing: Post will be deleted if both city and map marker position has been changed. This means that if you update the city, your listings in that location will be deleted.
To prevent that, you would create a new correct location, and then you merge the new and the old one from the Manage location tab.
I also note you have a location called “All”. Both the problem you describe and the creation of a “All” location happen when you don’t wait for the system to find and set the address before saving a listing.
Hope this helps.
I dont’t think that’s possible. The listings on the map are generated from the listings in the location or the category. What you are asking is to also add listings to the map from the popular post widget, and these listings might be in a complete different location or category than the page you are on.
Vikas, it looks like all the virtual pages have gone and been recreated as normal pages. Just a heads up, in case there is more to fix than just the location page.
Add this to your child theme CSS:
.widget-title {padding: 10px; height:auto;}Can you post your URL and WordPress login in a private message so we can have a look at what is going on?
Any idea? GD is compatible up to: 3.9.1 🙂
Not a good idea to use beta versions for a real site, unless you enjoy problem-solving. We leave that until WP is no longer in beta!I know that is not really an answer, but we’re not here to solve WP’s problems 🙂
If you add the GD login to every page, then your users will have links to all their listings, favorites etc.
If you want to allow people to change their password, do this:
WP admin > GD > General > Allow user to see wp-admin area > YES.July 21, 2014 at 10:07 am in reply to: child theme issue : single.php, single-gd_place.php, format.php not working.. :( #9212Look in the

Your settings for images were saving all your images with a zero x zero size.
I changed the settings back to the WP default.
WP admin > settings > mediaLet me know if that does not solve it.
1. That is correct, it is just like
http://wpgeo.directory/attractions/united-states/illinois/chicago/landmark/crown-fountain/
but without an image.2. Review
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/appending-a-1-to-state-in-url/Let me know if that answers your questions.
Thanks for letting us know, I’ll set this to resolved.
