Just some info for Stiofan who will look into this:
I can confirm this, I noticed it too. It seems to have something to do with either the format (if you upload a PNG with a transparent background for example) or with the fact that they are completely out of proportion (like squares instead of rectangles).
I did replace my PNG with a JPG and that stopped the wiggling.
Should be fixed, I added your Members area password.
I would need access to your cPanel or other control panel, so I can delete your password.
But the password field in the Auto Updates will always show 8 characters, that does not mean that your password is 8 characters. Most likely your password is correct in your database.I also changed your multi location settings.
I ticked the second option for “Home Page Results” and also added the switcher to your menu. Hopefully that is fixing your other problem you had.You should be able to use the GD>Search widget anywhere you can put a widget.
Then adjust with CSS if required.@ KABAZZ
You can do that now. You can add an extra tab by selecting Show on detail, page for the custom field, see
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/duplicate-content-on-listing-tabs/#post-5393Rockhopper, that image in itself doesn’t mean much. We would need to see the actual site (and access your admin).
And yes, the passwords have to be the same.
If you know what you are doing, I guess you can delete the password and username in your database. You might need to adjust your prices and payment packages to allow for images upload.
Post WP admin details in a private message, so we can have a look if that does not fix it.The location switcher is working as I expect when I visit your site.
What do you think is not working?I alerted Vikas to your question.
Hi Kevin
I had a look at your settings to do some groundwork for Vikas.
I changed your Multilocation setting to default country, rather than picking one country out of the multicountry list. Probably does not matter, but just was trying to find causes.
I also added a category and a listing, to see whether that sorts things out. No real change.
I do notice however, that none of your cities are in the expected format, they all have 2 additional letters referring to the relevant state. Not sure that matters.
I am not sure, but it does not look like you have a default location. Again I do not know whether that matters, but I am just adding it here for Vikas’ benefit.
Not sure what sort of hosting you are on either. This is the error I get after a while: This script grinds to a halt /wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.11.0:3
Vikas, over to you, if this needs further investigating.
There is no setting to add any GD categories to the header menu.
But you can just create custom links in your header menu, using the normal WP menus. The advanced search addon adds an extra tab to your Accommodation post settings, a “Advanced Search” tab.
1. You need to go to the custom fields tab, and for each of the custom fields you want to add to the advanced search, you need to tick the “include this field in the search filter” box towards the bottom of the settings.
2. Then go to the Advanced search tab and click on the custom field to add it to the search.
3. Then customise the field you just added.
4. You should now have a Customise my search button on the front-end.My test site at http://goldroo.net allows you to search custom posts if you want to see how it works.
July 6, 2014 at 8:54 am in reply to: Remove "Popular Categories" title without removong the widgets itself #7592Hi Giovanni, you can just add a space in the title field, and there will be no title showing.
In the demo it does show Popular Attractions etc … ?You just confirmed the saved password was incorrect. Not too sure how you can force that, maybe by saving a fake username and password, and then saving your proper credentials again? Or going into the database?
Your workaround is fine of course, but not preferable I guess.Adding a new location will not show anything unless you have a listing in that location. And there is no need to add locations anyway, you can just do that as you add listings. I hope I understood you correctly.
Your WordPress will still tell you if there is an update available of any of your GD addons.
If you then agree to update, and your saved password is incorrect, the update process will tell you.
Whether your password is correct or not, should not have any effect on the frontend, unless your addons are out of date.
You can compare the versions by looking at the version in your download area here, and then look at the version in your plugin list. This might be because you have some French characters like Côte-d’Or.
It means that your City like Dijon does not save.
I’ll get Vikas to have a look. -
