@ sputnik
You already can add any extra fields you like using Place settings, can’t you?
Would that not enable you to do what you suggest at https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/wishlist-suggestions/page/2/#post-2892This reply has been marked as private.When upgrading to GD 1.0.4 from the WP admin area, my PO and MO files were deleted from the geodirectory-languages folder, so I had to rebuild them.
Is that normal behaviour?All I wanted to show is where and how you can turn them on or off …
You got to play with the bottom padding of the containers I think.
Suggestion:
You are using 48 and 49%, instead of 48.5% for both.
#geodir_wrapper .geodir_locations {
margin-bottom: -30px;
text-align: center;
}
.geodir-content-right {
padding-bottom: 1px;
}
.geodir-content-content {
padding-bottom: 3px;
}.advmap_nofound { visibility: hidden; }
or you could translate and use a nil string
or you could add a listing to the category?Thanks for fixing this in GD 1.0.5. All references to reviews are now gone.
I tried to translate some of the GDF. But I get this warning:
Loading Issue: Author is using load_textdomain instead of load_theme_textdomain or load_child_theme_textdomain function. This may break behavior of WordPress, because some filters and actions won’t be executed anymore. Please contact the Author about that.
PS: problem solved, I need to translate the child theme.
Change /wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-assets/images/new.png and /wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-assets/images/featured.png ??
Without being able to have a play and look at your files, I don’t really know.
But every theme uses PHP pages, and you can find them at WP admin > appearance > editor. I would think that once you create a Ultimatum template, that is where it goes.
Using a widget, you still would need a separate template for your profile page, or the widget will be on your other pages too?
You should be able to use http://wordpress.org/plugins/php-code-widget/ but exactly how might require a bit of experimentation …PS: I am no expert but have learned a fair bit over the years mainly from fixing my own mistakes, advice given at your own peril 🙂
There is already a GD child theme using GD framework, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/geodirectory-framework-theme-beta-released/
But not a Genesis or Avada or whatever, the GD theme stands on its own.
I am using that at http://www.bookhinterland.com.au/ and there is a demo at http://drinking.directory
