Thanks Guust.
Do you know of any effective workarounds?
Also when can we expect to see V2 roll out? Thanks
Sorry paolo. I think you misunderstood me. I meant I am looking at dedicated servers cheaper than the ones my current host can offer not cheaper than my current sharing plan. So was looking for some guidance in that respect.
Thanks is Paolo,
I am looking at dedicated servers cheaper than my current host. Host gator. Can you recommend any?
Also host gator have advised I could import faster by FTP directly into the files. Is this an option? Thanks for your patience with this as I am new to all of this and learning.
Or any logs that say why the import terminated ?
Thanks paolo.i have tried reducing the import volume to smaller amounts but the import stopped after 600 records then when trying the same import stopped after 1.5 k but another import was successful with 5k records.
Can you advise any other issues maybe with data you know that could be causing this.
Thanks for your support.
Could I do that if the issue is importing and exporting taking too long considering the volume of records I have?
Is there another way to prevent duplicate records in import other than post_id
For example don’t allow listings with the same address to be imported?
Thanks Paolo. I do need a dedicated server but am not in a position for that yet and my PHP is currently at max.
I had a thought though. Can I give the listings their post_ids before upload and that way if it stopped and I restarted there would not be duplicate entries?
Thanks Alex.
So I have around 100k in there so wouldn’t be able to review them.
Looking at the delete option this only allows 999 at a time.
Is there another option like a reset database or is it a question of long nights for the rest of the week haha?
Also to avoid this again is there a way to prevent duplicate entries on upload like do not allow same named entries?
Thanks in advance
Thanks is guust
As I understand it that is how the search results will be sorted and predefined.
I guess my question is can a user sort and filter the search results by rating and or post date
Thanks
Thanks guust
The issue is I only have one category so the only thing I wanted to sort by is rating or post date.
Is there a way to sort by these things?
I have widened the km squared size to largest country as Tokyo being the predefined largest city. There is some overspill but it captures all of the countries listings first.
This seemed the easiest way for the user.
Thanks for your replies 🙂
Thanks. The nature of my website doesn’t really require the advance search only to sort from the list of results.
So someone would search only by city or country
And then with the search results sort or filter the listings they want to see.I need the front end user to be able to sort not predefined sorting is this possible?
Thanks for your help with this 🙂
