November 20, 2018 at 10:53 pm in reply to: Update expired or past event 'by the hour (or minute) as opposed to at days end? #455313
Hi Stiofan.
Yes i can imagine, but no, I am going to have one main site and seperate sub sites (sub directories) for any different time zones that users can manually choose from or get directed to based on their location.
Any helpful information on query filter that i can try and test would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Alex.
Thanks for that and thanks for the link to ‘customising your style’ I have now had a good look through this and have finally…finally got how this works! – in the past i didn’t right click on the individual item i was looking at – just opened up the inspector console for the whole page and then got hopelessly lost!
Im sure i wont need to bother you all with lots of css queries any more 🙂 (hopefully haha )
Thanks again.

Just thought i would add an image of the details page prior to ‘map tab’ being excluded… please note there is no map in the sidebar ?
Hi All.
Just wondering if there was any developments on fixing the above query?
In the interim, i have been trying to hide the OSM map with this map search on the details page as its just confusing how it is, but have had no luck…
By that i mean i have gone to design/detail/ detail page tab settings and added ‘map’ in the ‘Exclude selected tabs from detail page’ settings. This does remove the tab for ‘map’ but then adds another map to the top of the sidebar for some reason ? and i cant find a way to stop it? (please see image attached)
Any ideas?
Cheers.

Ian
Thanks Alex,
and thanks Kor, the custom CSS you recommended worked a treat. Perfect.

November 17, 2018 at 2:32 am in reply to: near me search not updating when pin moved manually #454739Hi Guust.
Please see screenshots attached taken a minute apart sitting in my house 🙂
Both showing Four Seasons, one at 6.41km and then i moved the location marker, pressed enter (twice) and then it shows the Km as different (4.49km) as i moved the marker position closer.
Hope this helps.

Hi Alex.
Thanks for the prompt reply as always, much appreciated 🙂
Yes i had actually found that fix when searching through the forum and while it did work, it did not center the remaining three (or four ) icons. (They were left aligned) so i thought there may be a different way. If not, any chance you can let me know how to center this?
Also FYI – there are two sections in compatibility.php showing the echo statement…
1) in line 1078 – echo do_shortcode(‘[gd_popular_post_category category_limit=5]’);
– this one is identical to the ‘echo do_shortcode…’ that you stated in your reply , but this does noting if you change it to ‘limit=3’.
the second is on line 1005 – echo do_shortcode(‘[gd_popular_post_category category_limit=5 category_restrict=1]’);
This one is a bit different to the one you stated as it has ‘category_restrict=1]’ in the end.
If you alter this one to show a limit of 3 then this works, however the icons are all left aligned (not centered?
Could i trouble you to just have a look at this and possible give direction on how to centre the icons ? Thanks in advance on that one.
Also was just wondering if you could let me know how to remove the category text under each category icon
Thanks Alex
Ian
