Thanks, a bit disappointing though 🙁 – works fine for event listing so leaves me wondering why venue listings cant ?
I would move to v2 but there seems to be too many benefits and features missing that I use in V1 that have not been carried over to v2- such as linking a venue to a listing and being able to auto fill the venue listing details such as location etc when you make/ add a new event.
Having to manually add the same venue details into each and every event listing a user makes is just way too time consuming and not at all thinking of the end user experience in my opinion…. but i guess we cant be all kept pleased with everything haha…so for now and the foreseeable future…its v1 for me unfortunately, unless they change that.

Sorry thought that was only for v2.
Yes its set for multiselect (as seen in image) and have also included shots of the back end and front end listing views of the category selection for you.
Does this look right? and if so, i cant see how to make one default
It does work if i use ajax chained but that is slow and looks pretty ugly 🙁

Stiofan, thanks fo that. Could you possibly let me know what file the existing filter would located in please?
Also if i could just ask for your combined opinion(s) on an idea i have to do this.- Can you think of any issues or negatives in running a cron on the Main_geodir_event_schedule table running say every hour and dropping any rows (posts) that are an earlier time/ date than present time/ date?
I have tested this manually and seems to work ok and also only drops old events and keeps any upcoming recurring events ok, so just wondering if you know if there is anything detrimental in doing this that i cant think of (will also keep the data base clean in this table too 🙂 )

(as in where to look or find the filter/ file so i can have it customised to work how i would like if possible )

Hi Kor.
thanks for that. I have bought ‘Uber menu’ plugin as this was rated as a top one but it seems to conflict with Supreme.
It seems to work fine with the main menu but Supreme still wants to add the mobile menu (in addition to the ubermenu mobile menu) when you shrink the page below the desktop breakpoint.
Im just working through this now as it shows you how to add some script into the header.php file to prevent this but the GD header.php file seems to have a lot more code in it that they show in the instructions so im a bit lost as to where to add it all right now.
I’ll work through it and see what happens….

No I had not to be honest… is there any you can suggest i take a look at the works well with GD Supreme?

I guess its not so much the navigation menu that i want responsive… but to be able to alter the entire Supreme theme (all pages) break points. This was possible with the Geodirectory Framework Theme in its settings page which was easy, but not so in Supreme it seems. 🙁

Thanks for the quick response, greatly appreciated.
Im just wanting to adjust the breakpoint for tablet size to be a little larger. Reason being – that at present the Supreme theme when viewed on a ipad shows the mobile menu while (being held) in portrait but changes to desktop style menu when viewed (held) in landscape, so i just want to increase the breakpoint to have some consistency.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as always.
