I have disabled the captcha and installed a third party one that is working so I am not going to use the one provided as I have had issues from day one. I think its best to use the new one.
Thanks so much for your help,
JamieOk thanks, I couldn’t find anything specific, I had it working the other day fine but then yesterday it just stopped again. Have had a few errors with the captcha seems very finicky and easy to break.

Sorry heres image.
My original question:
1. Can I insert code for widget logic that will only show the widget on the main cpt page and not on its category pages?
2.) Can I have widgets show up only on category pages and not on the main CTP page.
You can actually do this. I for some unknown reason did not see the visibility link right on the widget field. I have attached an image. So it can be done I think its a widget logic built in function.
This reply has been marked as private.Ok got it to list new listings for a CPT on a regular page. I used the popular post view and used a shortcode to post it on a page. Seems to be working.
If I make the categories into their own custom post types can I make a page that lists all the items from all the former categories show up in one cereal location? So basically a listing page that will include all items in the new CPT pages?
Ok so I am going to have to make each category its own individual CPT. Wow, thats a lot of work and don’t see why this kind of solution has not been added. In another topic I asked about making it so a customer can just click on or select a province from a menu in a specific CPT/category and it will just show the listings under that category. But its not possible unless the customer selects country, province and then it redirect to home page so I thought this would be a good solution to manually place the links on the sidebars of each category and CPT but now I cannot do this. Makes this seeming easy thing difficult.
Thanks for your answer.
No doesn’t give a 404 so thats a good solution for me.
Ok and if I do manual links and there are no listings for that province does it give a 404 error?
How do I make it so that it goes to the correct cpt after they select a province? So if they choose British Columbia how can I set that page to be a cpt page? I also don’t want to use the search as I have a third party search function that searches the entire site and breaks down the search in groups, such as CPT, blog posts, forum posts, user pages…. So I don’t want to just use your search as its not as functional. I would just use your search in the CPT but the other plugin overrides it.
