Hello again,
I’m using Geo 1280 Theme. Is it safe to update to Genesis 2.3.0? There were a few CSS scripts that you guys have added under Geodirectory > Design > Scripts that I don’t want to lose.
Thank you.

Hi guys,
Just checking in to see if they’re still working on that bug that’s keeping my desktop homepage map from zooming in. It’s still zoomed out too far. (pic attached) Thanks.
~Janine
Hi Paolo,
My homepage map still looks the same. Are they still working on that bug? Thanks.
~Janine
Hi Paolo,
Thanks. Looking forward to the fix.
~Janine
Hi Paolo,
I did the changes you recommended and it didn’t change the zoom for my desktop homepage. It’s still centered between all the listings.
My mobile homepage map is fine.
Thanks,
~JanineGood morning,
Thanks for explaining what the feature does. But I’m still confused about the zoom level of my homepage map.
1. If you can’t show “nearest 5 miles from the user automatically” what is the default miles when the user is geolocated?
2. My homepage map on my mobile is about a 30 mile radius while my desktop map is zoomed out from outer space (pic attached). Why would they be different?
Just a note, my desktop homepage map used to be more zoomed in by default before the upgrades. It’d be nice to have is zoomed in again.
Thanks,
~Janine
Hi Guust,
Thank you for fixing that.
So I set the radius at 5 miles from user location (attached) but it’s not working. Right now my desktop homepage map is too zoomed out (attached) and my mobile is zoomed out maybe 30 miles.
How do you make it so the homepage map is zoomed in 5 miles from user?
Thanks.

This reply has been marked as private. Thanks so much. But my menu is still acting up. “Add Listing” was repeating and if I remove “Listing” from the menu it still appears on my homepage. Desktop and Mobile.
How can I add and remove the items on my menu? It’s not working.
Thank you,
JanineHi Paolo,
Once users agree to be geolocated, is there a way for users to get directions to the place of interest? Perhaps a “Get Directions” link that takes them to Google Maps?
Thanks,
~JanineThis reply has been marked as private.Hi Paolo,
I disabled varnish on Cloudways and tried to locate an area where I could “clear” my geolocation browser settings. The link provided only shows instructions on how to disable sites from tracking my location, but nothing about “clearing”.
For Chrome, I’ve also tried Settings > Privacy > Content Settings > Locations > Manage Exceptions > and removing my website from “Geolocation Exceptions”. Is there another place where I can “clear” my geolation browser settings?
Also, my mobile website is not displaying the new listings on the GD Homepage Map. The desktop is displaying them but not mobile.
Thank you,
~JanineHi guys,
My homepage is full width most of the time but every now and then it has the “Undefined” pop up (attached) and converts back to “content with right sidebar” layout.
Ever since we put the full width homepage in place weeks ago, I have purged varnish in Cloudways and cleared my browsing a couple of times.
Regarding the second attachment, do I need to select more than the two: cache and cookies?
Thanks,
~Janine
Thanks for the update, Paolo.
Thanks, Paolo and Stiofan for looking into it.
