Full Width Homescreen

    Hi guys,

    I’m using 1280 Theme. How do you make the homepage full width?

    I’ve already tried configuring through: Geodirectory > Design, Customize > Site Layout, Edit Page > Layout Settings, and finally Genesis > Theme Settings.

    When I do this the widgets in the right sidebar disappears but there’s white space there instead. Maybe I have the numbers wrong in the attached?

    You need to use 100 instead of 100%.

    Thanks Guust, but that didn’t do it. I tried doing 100, then leaving the width of right and left blank,…playing with the numbers here but nothing is changing it to full width.

    I’m trying to make the listing AND search page full width as well. It won’t work and it messes with the footer. Please let me know where my settings are wrong. Thanks.

    Hi,

    using a Genesis theme, this cannot be done via settings, but only via css.

    I added what’s needed in your custom css.

    Please let us know if that is what you wanted.

    Hello,

    Unfortunately,this only left a huge blank white space on the right side bar and messed up the footer. Although, it did work for the search page.

    I tried making changes in Geodirectory > Design to accommodate your custom css but the homepage stayed the same.

    Genesis offers full width in their theme settings so I would think there’s a way.

    Actually, I’m talking about the homepage. The search page is fine since it’s at full width.

    Hi Paolo,

    Thank you. That looks so much better. Although, that caused my GD Map Homepage to cut off the category box.
