There’s been a custom field Twitter feed for a long time now. It’s always worked until now. It must have been a most recent update or something because it was working and I’m not exactly sure when it stopped. But it had to be recent. The attached image shows where I am just using a custom field called Twitter Feed. It worked great until now.

One of the things I noticed when all this happened was the title font changed, it’s closer to the featured image on the listings page (see attached). Can you help me with CSS for changing these titles specifically so it isn’t effected by Beaver Builder. The titles need to be smaller and have more padding at the top.

Also, it would be nice if there was a character limit. See how the last listing has a title 4 line breaks long. Is there a way to limit characters?

I have no idea how to do translations or what they even are, lol. I just haven’t had the time really to delve into that. I figured since you guys can do an update of the plugin it would be a good idea to at least change the wording for your users. I don’t know how many users you have wanting to use this plugin. So if Yelp works and facebook doesn’t it would at least make your plugin usable to change the text for the customers. Or even better give us a label to create and make it easy for us to say whatever we want infinitely resolving the issue. Or am I wrong in assuming it would be easier for your developer to change the wording for all the users as opposed to having all your users use translations?

I know it would be better for me to figure out translations. It may be easy even, hopefully it is! lol. But, that’s a different topic all together I think regarding this issue.

Yelp works, but the field says facebook and yelp, i haven’t had time to figure out how to change the text to just say “Yelp” until this is fixed. Is there an easy way to change that information?

The expectation was set by the demo. If I do as you suggest and add the search to the top section it is no longer like the demo, it looks horrible, and I still am left with other issues.

I want it to be like the demo for all CPT’s even if they don’t have a location. This is broken and needs to be fixed, this is not a customization. As you can see the search works in the sidebar in desktop just not mobile. But I shouldn’t even have to put it in the sidebar, GD Search is in the top left of all the other CPT’s, why isn’t it for this one?

Here’s a demonstration of the issue:

I understand you don’t handle customizations typically.

I want the supreme theme and search to look and behave like the demo for all CPT’s even if they don’t have a location. How can I achieve this? Right now it is broken. I don’t need a customization, I need a fix.

I still don’t know what the CSS is hiding, I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m only talking about the search button not working on the CPT without a location. I don’t want this broken button there. What do I do? Ideally there would be a search that works there in mobile view. You’re saying this theme doesn’t support right sidebar, but it works in desktop mode. Can you make it work in mobile?

Like I said, I removed the CSS search still did not work correctly. Nothing changed when I removed CSS in regard to “GD Search”. Furthermore, the CSS you referenced was for the map issue.

    Thanks Alex,

I have this option set in admin so that renewal of free listings is an option. Say someone joins a package that is free for 30 days. If I change the package to 60 days before they renew do I understand it correct that they will still only have 30 days AND when they update their profile it will change to 60 days?

Also, regarding “Prices and Payments” “Notifications” are the “PRE EXPIRY NOTIFICATIONS TO CLIENTS” only sent to expiring listings or do they also go out for paid listings? I know that may seem like an obvious answer. I just want to make sure I understand this as thoroughly as possible so I word the notifications correctly and setup everything correctly. Also in regard to paid, subscription listings:

Is it correct that the expiry notifications do not go out to subscription listing users when their listings are about to be renewed automatically?
Is there a time when paid listings will receive an expiry notification? If so, please explain.
If a paid listing is not paid and is set to “Expire, Downgrade to” a “Free Listing” what kind of notification does the user receive and when? Or do they not receive one until the free listing is set to expire?

Putting the search widget in the top works great for the no location CPT. But, it looks horrible on the other CPT’s. The attached image shows that it’s there twice when I put it in the GD Listing Top Section. In the widgets area of admin I couldn’t find where the other GD Search is to remove it (reference attached image). I prefer the GD search in the top of the left section (where it is/was originally), not the center of the top section. Even your demo has it this way.

GD Search works great in the sidebar in Desktop view. The only problem is that the search button isn’t working in mobile. Isn’t there a way to make it work in mobile like it does in desktop?
