Stiofan, are you saying “Search by Distance” does not work “with” the near field? I was pointing out several issues but I suppose that may be part of one of the problems or something…

Thanks for helping with this though. I’ve disabled the “Search by Distance” for now until all of this works better or more intuitively at least.

Alrighty, I’m assuming you all have at least had time time to look at this. Since it’s Friday afternoon, at least here, I also assume you may not be able to get to it until next week? So, I’m going to remove this advance search to prevent anyone from experiencing the same issues.

I would like to remove these search features as soon as possible. I only have them there so you guys can see what I have demonstrated in the video. If someone could, please look at this very quick video that immediately demonstrates the issues and let me know what I either need to change, help me fix it, or let me know if it’s just broke in which case turning it off is the best option.

Thanks Alex, I’ve been working through GD Experts and UpWorks too. I just want to really make sure I’m not reinventing the wheel here because it’s going to be expensive… thanks again! Hope you’re having a great day!

Thank you Alex. I am not sure we are talking about the same thing. Can someone else please help me with this. I simply want the marker clusters to look the same. Thank you.

I promise you it’s profoundly easier to watch this very short video. It’s going to be very difficult to explain in text. That is why I made the video please watch it.

When I tried to refresh my token I received this message:

Invalid Scopes: rsvp_event. This message is only shown to developers. Users of your app will ignore these permissions if present. Please read the documentation for valid permissions at: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/permissions

When I looked it up I found this:

    rsvp_event
Provides the ability to set a person’s attendee status on Facebook Events (e.g. attending, maybe, or declined).
This permission does not let you invite people to an event.
This permission does not let you update an event’s details.
This permission does not let you create an event. There is no way to create an event through the API.

    Review
If your app requests this permission Facebook will have to review how your app uses it.

    Common Usage
Reduce friction for people in managing events and calendar information (e.g. device apps, planner apps, concert apps.)

But earlier (referenced in the previous comment) I didn’t find any rsvp_event when “starting submission”. I do see user_event. I’m just not sure if that’s the same thing. Is that what is forcing this app to need to be submitted? Is that the only thing I need to select to submit this app?

I hate that I need to do this because they may need me to “verify” my facebook page. I have already tried to do that a few weeks ago and it did not work for some reason. So, I’ll have to probably go to the county office and get a business license to verify my page, which I do not want to do at all. 🙁 So is there something you can change about this addon to make it work without needing to go through this process?

Could someone please explain how to do this? I really don’t know enough about any of this. I only know I want to use the social importer. Everything else is hard for me to understand at this point.

Right off the bat I’m confused about this:

In order to maintain your current API access, your app will need to be submitted for review by August 1, 2018. If your app is not submitted for review, you will lose access to these permissions and features.
    user_link
    user_gender
    user_age_range

Is any of this even relevant? if not, does it matter if we lose it?

Also, if I try to go further by clicking “start submission” what is this?

Select the items you want to include in this submission

and then there’s all these options:

    business_management
    groups_access_member_info
    manage_pages
    pages_manage_instant_articles
    publish_pages
    publish_to_groups
    read_insights
    read_page_mailboxes
    user_age_range
    user_birthday
    user_events
    user_friends
    user_gender
    user_hometown
    user_likes
    user_link
    user_location
    user_managed_groups
    user_photos
    user_posts
    user_tagged_places
    user_videos
    FEATURES
    Ads Management Basic Access
    All Mutual Friends API
    Page Mentions
    Taggable Friends
    Optimized Sharing to Messenger
    Live Video API
    Page Public Content Access
    Groups API

Which ones do we need to select? I assume location, photos, maybe events, I really don’t know…

I did just try using the importer and got a different error “Something went wrong[10]”
