Yes, this has fixed the problem, thanks!
Perhaps the problem lies with the new integrated theme compatibility with the latest GD core update? I have all other plugins disabled except for WP Maintenance Mode and Coupon Creator.

I suppose I could specify a transparent png as an invisible map anchor, but that would require a separate CPT or category for such businesses (not a big deal really). It would be nice however if there could be a way to control the map tab based visibility on custom post type basis (I believe the map tab can only be shown/hidden globally via GD/Design/Detail). A map tab doesn’t make sense for home-based services that don’t want to show their location (there are A LOT of these businesses).
Arg! I should have known. Users Ultra Pro caused major problems with GD Booster (killed all CSS), so I’ve just kept GD Booster deactivated and thought that was the only conflict.
I had no idea UUP could have caused such other mayhem with GD. I’m looking forward to BuddyPress integration, although UUP has such a nice-looking system out-of-the-box and seems to have a great team behind it (BuddyPress needs a ton of CSS to get things looking half-decent).Thanks so much for finding the problem!

I have not activated Custom Post Type UI on this site. It is now deleted. No, the problem persists when bbPress is disabled.
Yes, going to WP Admin > Settings > Permalinks and clicking save does fix the problem as well (temporarily, until I make another adjustment to any GD parameter in GD/General, Design, Permalinks, or Notifications–then detail listings and bbPress category links break again).
One other strange thing I just noticed. When the links are in the broken state, the demo Layerslider appears in the bbPress page header (normally it would be a plain white header, no slider).
I’m starting to think it’s time to revert back to an older DB backup…this is just nuts!
If the detail pages show up then something is “self-correcting” itself, which maybe points to a server issue. It is strange though that it is a very controllable scenario.
Please just try making a minor setting change (ie. uncheck display Home top Section in GD/Design) and see if all detail pages break for you (ERROR 404). It breaks for me every time. It is also immediately fixed once I go to edit any Custom Post Type settings and save without even changing anything.
btw. I noticed that when my Detail pages are not found neither are my bbPress posts. bbPress posts are found again once I do the edit/save routine on any Custom Post Type.
Strange.
I was able to trigger the problem again by changing any GD parameter in GD/General, Design, Permalinks, or Notifications. Making changes to Prices & Payments, Listing Claims, or any other GD setting does not trigger the problem.Once the problem appears, going into any custom post type and saving without actually making any causes the detail pages to be found again.
It is very odd. I’m thinking that reverting to last week’s database might be the only fix for this, but hopefully you can find a problem and save me a week’s work.
This reply has been marked as private. Thanks for the fast replies guys. I’ve updated the payment manager and the problem is fixed.
fyi. Payment Manager didn’t show upgrade available in WP Plugins (had to upgrade via FTP), so I had no idea it was so out of date. I’ll keep a closer eye on versions from now on.
