Here’s my full list of CF rules in detail.

You may also want to add an exclusion for *.domain.com/add-listing/*

Hope it helps. I’ve also added a social media login and registration plugin by oneall.com which is working great.

Sorry for the non-detailed response but I was in the hospital and a little sedated. 😉

    Two questions:

    1. Should the listing address ever be duplicated in the list view? Regardless of setting?? I don’t think so.
    2. Two, if you have various listings with same name but in different parts of the country, how is the user to determine which is which if no address information, at minimum city, state/province? In the column view, there is not location information other than name with the address in listing disabled. Enabling it provides it – but then again creates the duplicate in list view.
    3. See picture.

This probably better describes my problem. I hope you see it as one too. 😉

Great, but in the alternate listings, when you hide it doesn’t show up. And it should. So I’m listing in the to call him or three column or four column, there’s no address, unless you display it.

Ah – sorry – the issue is more with just list mode and has nothing to do with search.

Just the list layout option vs the others.

    See attached.

    Go into your root and:
    grep -H -r -i -n “tab-seprator” .
    grep -H -r -i -n “i_locationnew.png” .

    etc.

    /wp-content/plugins/geodir_advance_search_filters/css/style.scss:88
    /wp-content/plugins/geodir_advance_search_filters/css/style.css:1
    /wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-assets/css/map.css:1
    /wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-assets/css/map.scss:202

You’ll find all the css files that are calling them.

Should the display in search be the same as listings?

Or should another option for show in search be created for all the CPT items?

Whoops – may have posted this to the wrong forum. If I did, sorry.

Got it – cool. I guess this might fall under a feature request but it’d be super cool then if this could be manipulated via the CPT editor on a CPT basis. SEO! 😉 I have too many feature requests…ha

    Thanks Paolo,

I want to confirm that we are talking about the same thing.

Can you confirm that you hardcoded the tag/category in WPGeo so that they would “not use” the default or custom settings in: WP > Settings > Permalinks??

Because I’ve changed the WordPress permalinks settings and they aren’t being acknowledged. I only ask because I don’t know why you’d change the scope of how WordPress works at its core.

Go back and do a search. Both search and list are set to list view.

Im away on my iPhone and seeing the 2 column on search.

Do both search and list view and let me know if you see the same in both instances.

    Hi Paolo,

I’ve fixed the js error. I just added the x to the script to nullify that particular code from being executed.

    Same issue though.

When I disable all caching, I see the same result as well.

The map displays the same whether on the home page or on the listing page – showing the equator as center.

The reason I’ve moved it to a listing page is that I’m doing user testing right now. Testing slider vs map vs nothing at top of home page. I’m seeing a higher bounce rates and lower time on site w/ the map and slider so I’m now testing moving it to the listing page.

Anyhow, there are no more js errors.

PS I’m using bwminify because I’m familiar with it. It does a great job of identifying the various script and has a nifty interface for moving minified scripts to the header, footer or ignoring them in the event of a conflict. It also works great with MaxCDN and Cloudflare and their edge caching. But again, I don’t see anything new with caching and minification off all together. Open to more suggestions if you’ve got any. And I can set you up with direct access to the db via sql workbench or tools if you would like to poke around.
