This happened when I had 2 fields added and tried to fill the 2nd field first.

This is what I Was suggested yesterday and I did.
I have clicked delete there and the went to plugins and deleted the plugin as I won’t need it

The events plugin is diabled and GD link still sits there
I know it’s GD because before I removed the plugin I renamed EVENTS to EVE from within GD pluginThanks Alex

Have you tried editing the WP Menu to remove the menu item?
Never did this
Not sure what you meanI did as you said, uninstalled from within the uninstall menu and removed the addon from the site but the link is still there
Any ideas?
Visual Composer is placing the latest events widget there
