I figured this out. I forgot about this little trick.
Placed
gd-comma-list
in the custom fields. 🙂
But why? This didn’t happen before. Will this be fixed at all? A blank screen should not be normal behavior.
Thank you.
Wow, that’s right around the corner. How exciting. I wish I had more time to invest in beta testing.
Thank you so much for providing that info.I will give it a try. I appreciate it.
Hey Stiofan. Thank you for the response.
Do you think GD2 is stable enough for a live site? I’m in the process of starting a site.
Also, if GD2 isn’t ready yet, will it be an easy transition from GD1?
Anyway, if you could give me a code example I would be grateful. I’m pretty weak in php.
On second thought…never mind, this is not a good practice.
Thanks for the suggestions!
Alex, this is a great alternative as well. I appreciate that!
Figured it out. Pages were set incorrectly in UWP and GD so it caused the conflict. 🙂
This reply has been marked as private.Sorry I remembered why I removed this in the first place. When a user is not logged in, the url repeats and I get a redirect issue.
Is there a setting that I’m missing? I’m working on a site with a lot of baggage so I don’t know if there’s a plugin conflict causing the issue. It works just fine when a user is logged in though.
Lol. What a dope.
Thank you. 🙂
Giri provided that snippet, maybe he might have an idea how to adapt it. @giri, if you’re around…
Thanks guys.
Hi Guust,
It’s a site is development so I don’t have a link to share at the moment.
But I am trying to get a link to use to get to the author page. Right now it’s accessible through the GD widget, but I’d like to skip the drop down option and replace with a link.
Let me know if I can better explain. Thank you.
Hi, no that’s that I meant. The snippet provided in that post should be sufficient, but for some reason it isn’t, and the only was to get the header menu to work is to actually change the core function file.
I am asking to see if any change has been made so that a snippet will work instead of having to edit the core file. Of course, this would just make things easier to remember when there is a new update so that a user won’t have up keep editing the core function file with each update.
Please let me know if you would like me to further explain. Thank you.
Figured it out:
.geodir-search button.geodir_submit_search { display: none; }
Okay, thank you.
