Hi Kor. I’m so sorry – it was me! I had used CSS to hide the slider and didn’t realize it would affect those sections as well. Apologies. 🙂
It’s all good, you can mark this matter as being resolved.
We aren’t using the BP integration and are trying to make it easy for our users to access their listings to edit them – without the need to 1) navigate to your profile, 2) view your listings, 3) click on the listing you need to edit, then finally 4) click on the “Edit” link to actually get to edit their listing.
Is there any option that we can use to perhaps link their “edit listing” form to their owned listing within the navigation menu? Each user will only own a singular listing so ideally if they click on their “Edit my Listing” link in their menu, they would be directed to the listing form. Actually even if it doesn’t take them to the listing form, having a link to their owned listing would be good too…
I’ll look at the link you provided as well, maybe I can make something work with that too. Our demographics come from an older group so keeping things as simple as possible has been important. Thank you!
Okay, thanks for the clarification.
Thanks for the suggestion Kor, but we are using BuddyBoss which is pretty much integrated with Buddypress – is there no way to easily access authored listings via link besides creating another dashboard area for our users with Users WP?
Hi Alex, for now just one image but we may expand to allow up to 3 images. I have tried to clear my cache and still no luck. The images don’t appear on the listing detail page.
Thank you for the update Kiran. With the next release will we still need to create a custom template file or will the template option setting be available within the WP Dashboard?
Okay, thank you! I thought maybe it worked with the URL also. Thank you!
Hey Stiofan – fixed! Thank you very much. Take care.
Thank you for your response. Not sure that I understand this though:
The “Show all posts” option will only show all markers for the search results.
If you want to show all markers for all your listings in your directory, you can add the Directory map as an extra, but you may confusing your visitors because they get the same results on that map regardless of their searches.
Can you please explain a little more? Will this option be able to achieve what Iʻm seeking?
If the above option is not a fix for my situation, it is not possible to have all map markers remain visible regardless of a users search query? We were using another plugin (WP GoogleMaps) and it was possible with a jquery adjustment. This feature was important to the organization I just want to be sure I relay the proper restrictions on this. Thank you!
Hi Guust, I would like the other markers to remain visible as well. Someone may perform a search say for a city, if there are no listings in their searches city the rest of the map will be blank…while there may actually be a listing in the next city or so, but a visitor would miss that because of this behavior where other markers are hidden. It cab be confusing or misleading. Can this be adjusted?
I meant when trying to view a listing from the front-end. Can you please check it out again? Thank you.
