Hi, @paolo, has this been developed yet. It’s sort of a major thing if we’re going to have owners claim their listings. Thank you.
Thanks @paolo. I was sending it to a GoDaddy email and they may have blocked it thinking that it was spam. I tried to a gmail address and it worked out just fine. However, even on the demo site it’s difficult to test out the upgraded listing function so I gave up.
But can you respond to my other question: If the admin wants to feature certain listings without integrating it into a monetized system, it’s not possible?
Hello again one more thing… So if the admin wants to feature certain listings without integrating it into a monetized system, it’s not possible?
I have checked my spam boxes. I’ll try to register again. Thank you.
I am referring to your own demo, found here: http://wptry.it/try-geodirectory/
Even without the prices and payments add-on we can still use the Featured widget. We can manually populate it, but as I said, it just shows photos – why wouldn’t it link to the actual featured listing?
I would like to have a sandbox demo setup for me. On your demo site visitors have the option to have a demo site created to test out the plugin and it’s add ons, it requests for an email address and the login information is supposed to be sent – but like I said, I’ve tried to sign up 4 times and I have still not received any emails. I am told that this demo site offered by WPGeoDirectory gives people a chance to try out all the features of an add-on before we purchase.
Thank you.
Hello again @paolo, how would I get this function into a shortcode please?
Ahhhh! Thank you so much. It worked. 🙂
I have but I don’t fully understand how it’s used. Would I put this into the widget logic conditionals?
I would like “x” widget to show IF there is the “beach” tag attached to a listing. I don’t know how to achieve this and I’ve been working at it for hours. 🙁
Nothing I’ve tried is working, but I see there are other posts about using this plugin but the ones I’ve seen only pertain to the events or category. How do I use a condition to read the tags please? Thank you.
I have and have been trying to get it to work. But it doesn’t. I’ve tried with the tags and the wp conditinal tags don’t seem to pickup on the gd tags.
If this can’t be done, does the tags on the places use the wp conditional tags? I am trying to display certain widgets on certain pages only. For example, IF a place is tagged as a beach in the place tags, THEN I want “x” widget to show up. If NOT, it should be hidden…help? Please?
Please disregard, I figured out a fix.Thank you.
Please disregard, I figured out a work-around. Thank you.
This reply has been marked as private.Thank you Paolo. I will try this. Is there a way that I can only show the author IF it is not the admin?
