I was finally able to hire someone to look at it last night. They temporarily renamed the htaccess file and then saved permalinks and that resolved the issue. Thank you for looking into this!

Thank you! Any additional details about the issue(s) or potential fixes would help guide me in trying to hire and direct a developer on my end.
Paolo, I went through some WordPress documentation about migrating and as far as I can tell everything is ok. If there are additional issues I don’t know what they are or how to identify them. I am trying to hire someone to help me with that.
Sorry about admin access. Fixed… now has super admin priveleges.
This reply has been marked as private.Thank you Giri. Is there a forum here on wpgeodirectory where I can find/hire people for that kind of work? Any recommendations in that regard would be appreciated.
This reply has been marked as private.Yes, we did change domains about a month ago. Will send credentials shortly.
Issue resolved. It turned out I had a setting on Cloudflare (where my DNS is managed) that forced all content over https (to eliminate mixed content errors). Not sure yet WHY that caused a problem but turning off that feature fixed the problem.
I get it now. You are being very helpful. I do want to dynamically create a link from an external site with zip code only that will generate search results on the directory site. Sounds like I can’t do that. I would have to have a script that generates the lat/lng from the zip and then sends the url over to the directory. Correct?
Ok, got it. You answered my question. What I want to do can’t be done. Thanks again for your time!!!
Guust, thanks for taking the time for me!
I’m not sure if I’m clear. If I just want to generate a search page via Direct URL and I don’t know the lat and the lng can I still generate the search via zip only?
If I use this search string for example:
?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&s=+&snear=80005it will not work. It doesn’t auto query and input the lat/lng into the search query.
Also I tried to add &sgd_placecategory=catname to a search query and it didn’t filter to that category.
Example: /?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&s=+&snear=80005&sgeo_lat=39.854992&sgeo_lon=-105.1317431&sgd_placecategory=catname
Thank you sooo much for your speedy help. I will report back if I still can’t figure it out.
Thank you. When I open the file, I see those columns and I don’t see the symbols. What program are you using our do you recommend to look at the files or generate the CSV?
