Hello Vikas,
@pix3x just alerted me to this thread as a possible related issue to mine at:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/bad-links-using-change-location/Thanks @pix3x
You must have a tag or ordinary wordpress category with that name already, before you created the state location. Or creating an Event category will do it too.
— Yes, I do
Why do you have event categories named after a state? The map should allow you to filter by state?
— To have a better SEO slug for each tag
You might have to change it in your database, unless you can delete the tags or categories, then delete the location and create the location again.
— Weighing the options it will be better to have it with the -1 because I would have to do it for each one that I create hereafter.
Unless the location is the first thing created with that name, the slugs will be appended with a 1, and then a 2 etc.
— This, I don’t understand.
@danbergan thanks this has helped me as well and thanks for the share. I’m still getting a strange pop to the right action when I click. I’ve attached a screen shot.
I have an event category for every state. I want the url to not show the -1. How can I change this?
Oh, here are a couple of screen shots to illustrate.
Thanks but I believe you have misunderstood my questions. Do the developers understand or should I rephrase the question?
It looks like the first one didn’t make it but you probably get the idea.
Can you tell me if we should be posting all Avada related issues in this thread?
Here’s another:
It looks like the z-index of the map needs to be adjusted for full size map when viewing from a listing detail page. The 2 screen shots show before and after clicking to show full size.Paulo, it looks like we have 4 +1’s are you looking for a lot more to consider the benefit of this feature?
ThanksI can confirm that I have the same problem as pix3x with send to friend form in Avada.
This reply has been marked as private.just adding some tags so others can find this.
How do I rally the troops?
Here’s an Avada issue with picture overlapping text in related listings area.

I was having the same problem as described in #2 of your post. Because of some other issues I was having as well, I disabled the “change location” menu and geo share plugin and the pinpoint started working. I know it’s not a solution, I hope that maybe my 2 cents, along with everyone elses’ ideas, might lend some insight to the developers.
