I was able to revert to the old versions of the plugins and it fixed the issue. I’ll have to use a staging server to figure out which of these plugins is causing the issue
This reply has been marked as private. This reply has been marked as private.I found the code in geodirectory/geodirectory-functions/custom_functions.php for the $marker_icon. All I really need now if the variable name or method of loading the category’s default image. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks again
Ohh okay! Got ya. Thanks again Guust. A++ support.
This reply has been marked as private.1. Where is the CSS added for the Add Listing page?
I added the CSS to a new page and then used a shortcode to incorporate the add listings functionality.
[gd_add_listing listing_type=gd_place]
It works perfectly in the ‘add listing’ page, but when editing a post it does not. I can likely fix this by adding the CSS to the php template for ‘add-listing.php’ but I’d rather not have to do this.2. Are your plugins the latest [and non-customised] version?
Yes, all updated to the newest.3. Any particular listings you can point to so we can review the problem?
Yes, I’ll make you a user account and claim a listing with it. From here, you’ll be able to see the edit and upgrade link and see the issue. I’ll reply with an account in a min. ThanksAwesome! Thanks guust

Thanks so much Giri! With a bit of CSS magic, it worked like a charm! Much appreciated 🙂
Hey Kor,
Thanks, but this isn’t what I was looking for – I am familiar with reordering tabs and I’ve already done this. I’m trying take the first tab and have 5 sections within that particular tab, each with it’s own content that is provided by the user at the ‘add listing’ step. I think it will likely require a php function and some pre-defined CSS containers. Not too sure.
Attached is an image of what I’m trying to explain. Section a,b,c,d,e would be the parts I’m trying to implement.
Thanks for the help! Resolved 🙂
Resolved: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-posts-carousel/ worked perfectly and looks amazing – thanks again for the excellent support.
@Kor Chung: Thank you. I will increase the post limit and see if this helps for the native slider. If the slider in Paolo’s reply doesn’t work I will post the login credentials so you can get a better look at what I’m referring to. Appreciate the help guys!
Hi again. I have another quick question.
I discovered that you need a SSL certificate in order to automatically locate on Safari and Chrome. This is fine, I am installing one now and testing in Firefox for the time being.
However, I noticed there’s an option ‘Ask user if they wish to be geolocated’ <- this is exactly what I need. I have it checked, but it doesn’t actually work unless I also activate ‘First time load redirect’ to either ‘default location’ or ‘closest location’. I really can’t have a redirect to these pages because I have a terms and conditions page that needs to be accepted once you enter my site and secondly I have a homepage that the user should be brought to instead.
So far, I’m able to get it to redirect to the /location/me page and then if I navigate to /home, I am geolocated, which is great – but I need to go straight to the home page instead.
As an alternative, I was able to disable the ‘First time load redirect’ and simply click the compass button on the homepage and it also achieves geolocation. Can I trigger this function on page-load instead of having to hit the compass button?
