Thank you for the response. This seems like a rather basic feature to have because I would imagine users using the search function more than the archives, because well everyone would like to search something specific to their preferences and filters, and archives are more for browsing.

If the advanced search add-on is a premium feature of the GD plugin, then it seems kind of odd that we can’t create a separate search template the way we can for archives. For directories, it’s also an important feature for monetisation for featured listings to appear somewhere in the relevant search results.

I have picked up CSS and HTML to customise GD myself but this customisation is even beyond just CSS, if I were to create templates that behave similarly to the archives, ie users can simply just switch between CPTs under the GD_Search tool.
Given the powerful function of GD_Search, it would be a shame to not be able to use that, and instead go to the extent of creating, and placing several links all over the page for users to perform a search?

I think I get why the designers/developers designed it that way. Please resolve this thread. Thank you.

Woah Alex thanks for the super speedy response. Problem 1 is solved. When I used Menus >Add menu items > Pages > Add Things To Do Listing, I get that weird link but when I scroll all the way down and use the one under Geodirectory Endpoints, it displays the correct link.
