Hi Kiran,
Thank you so much. Yes it’s visible now but it doesn’t appear automatically. The user has to click the gearwheel button.
The other CPTs has the filters appearing at the sidebar automatically.
Can you help me tweak it such that the “Things to Do” CPT is the same as the other CPTs?
Thank you so much.

That’s strange because the it didn’t happen for the rest of the CPTs.
I’m actually very green with WP so I don’t even know where to locate the CSS fields, much less edit them myself.
Could it be to do with my theme?
But if it’s my theme, then the other CPTs should have the search filters hidden as well?
In any case, how do I unhide the filters now? I don’t know how to get to the CSS part of the website.
Thanks Alex. You didn’t answer the 2nd part of my question.
” Since it is a content meta, does it disappear in Google search results too?”Thanks!

May 14, 2019 at 9:43 am in reply to: Posts and Search Filters not Appearing in 2nd EVENTS CPT #486323There’s another problem. Under the custom field “Type” for CPT “Things To Do’, I’ve selected the value at the backend listing page and updated the post but it keeps coming “unchecked” by itself. Meaning I selected “Exhibition” but once I update the post, it deselects the field by itself.

Say on a scale of 1 – a few hours of work and 5 – Probably cost thousands of dollars.
Sorry I don’t mean to bug the team but I reckon you know the GD program in and out and would be the best person to give the overview opinion.
Hi,
Thanks for getting back.
I get the part about sorting is only available for archives, and search filters are only for search results.
Let’s say a user is looking for places to eat, is in the mood for Asian, is on a budget and needs Halal food. He might probably land on my archive page for Dining/Asian. Because he is on a budget, he’d sort by price so he can browse from the cheapest eatery onwards. However, he’ll also need a sidebar with filters for him to click Halal, and maybe some other filters like Credit card promotion and Kid Friendly.
So what I’d like to do is to insert filters into the archives. Is that possible currently and if not, will it be very complex even if I were to engage a developer to do it?
So
