Hi Dominic,
Thanks for reaching us with your questions. I’ll try to answer it accordingly.
1. You can ask for custom customizations from the developers in this thread.
2. Could you please check if you’ve set the homepage correctly? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#home
3. We’ll need your Website URL to help further. Also, do you mind sharing a screenshot of what you are trying to achieve?
4. Do you think you can share temp admin access to your site so we can take a better look? You can post the details here using the private reply option below.
Thanks!
Hi Brett,
You can temporary hide those CPT using the custom CSS below.
option[value="gd_directory"], option[value="gd_trainingproviders"]{ display:none; }
Thanks!
Hi Adele,
Sorry, I don’t think that’s possible out of the box. I’m going to need to transfer this to one of our developers for a second opinion. Also, this would probably require customization on the database which is not recommended in this case.
Thanks!
Hi Silks,
I don’t think that’s possible out of the box. However, I’m going to need to transfer this to one of our developers for a second opinion. He will be back in touch with you as soon as possible.
Thanks!
Hi Brett,
Those settings are meant for hiding categories in the map widget. Could you tell us a little bit more about what you’re trying to achieve?
Thanks!

Hi Alex,
Yes, you can do that in GD > Import & Export > GD Listing Import CSV . Here’s a screenshot for your reference. http://prntscr.com/b1weth
Thanks!
Hi scamp,
Alright, I’ll just mark as resolved for this one. Let us know if you need anything further.
Thanks!
Hi Alex,
We meant something like this https://wpgeo.directory/author/admin/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_place , which displays the list of the current posts from a user.
Thanks!

Hi Roy,
The reason the map is not displaying is because you’ve hidden it in GD > Design > Map > SHOW / HIDE POST TYPE AND CATEGORY ON MAP which is why the map is not displayed on the front page. I’ve removed it for now, and it should be showing correctly on your home page. Could you please check on it and let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi Roy,
Sorry for not paying much attention here. Since you’re using a custom home page, try adding the map shortcode to the page. To do that, refer to this section of the documentation. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#locationmap . Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi Roy,
Try dragging the “GD > Gmap – Home Page” widget into the “GD Home Top Section” to achieve what you needed there. Please make sure you’ve set the home page to use the GD home page. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#home . If it doesn’t work, do you think you can share temp admin access to your site so we can take a better look? You can post the details here using the private reply option below.
Thanks!
